The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The valet service was excellent, and the valet attendant was very professional, respectful and helpful throughout my stay. The cleanliness of the room was disappointing, especially considering the price I paid. There was mould around the bathroom tap, the tables were dusty, and the hairdryer had someone’s fake eyelashes left on it. I have photographs of these issues. As it was my anniversary, I also paid an additional £25 for roses to be placed on the bed. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the amount of roses provided and the way they were presented. I did not feel that this was worth the extra £25 and, honestly, felt ripped off. I paid almost £300 for one night, so I expected a much higher standard, particularly from a hotel of this level. Overall, the cleanliness and anniversary arrangement were not acceptable for the price I paid.
