Grandmas Plus Hotel Legian

First i arrived at airport after traveling over 11 hours then spent over 1 hour and half looking for driver went to service desk made an announcement for driver no response called hotel was told the driver had accident and I had to get my own way to hotel and to get a grab as hotel car damage and couldn't pick me up that took over 1 hour to get then drive to hotel so over 14 hours travel had bad headache /migraine then seen 2 cars in driveway of hotel i felt like i was just forgotten and lied to i asked if the car did have an accident and i wasn't forgotten why wasn't i contacted as there was no phone call or message on my phone to let me know i had to call and find out what was happening felt very alone and if i wasn't forgotten why couldn't 1 of the cars in driveway pick me up ? No response nor any compensation for there mistake treated it as my fault ???

Everything was great. The hotel was better than we imagined considering the very reasonable price. Lifts worked well, all staff were friendly, polite and helpful, the room was a decent size, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well, hot water was good, water pressure was excellent, our room was cleaned well everyday, location was good for proximity to the beach and choices of food, entertainment, shopping, etc. K.W car and motorbike rental directly opposite the hotel provided very reasonably priced rental services and helpful, friendly sightseeing advice. You can clearly see that the hotel is well managed. In the booking stage and during our stay, the hotel sent a few messages with information and inquiring about our stay. We have no real complaints. If had to say something, could only say that the hotel is not brand spanking new and can see some very minor signs of aging with a close eye. But none of that is a problem. It truly is one of the better hotels I have ever stayed at and would recommend the hotel to anyone and would gladly stay there again.

First, I liked the price of the whole stay compared to other hotels. However, the photos was showing a more luxuries rooms, while in reality I was shocked that the rooms are less than expected. Nevertheless, the staff was great and helpful. I didn't like how the bathroom door doesn't close well. Also the rooms view was to a white wall with nothing else to enjoy. However, there's the screen problem which is really old, small, and dirty, as if it's from 1990's.

Grandmas is a no-fuss hotel in a great location surrounded by heaps of shops, cafe's and restaurants (Garlic Lane is just around the corner) and it's just a short walk to the beach! It's cheap, cheerful, modern, comfy and basic (we opted for a 'cosy room' A$28/night) as we were flying out at 11.30pm. We actually paid for 2 nights, but only slept there the first night and checked out at 8pm on the second night - this allowed us to chill out on our last day, do a bit of shopping - re-pack our bags and go out for sunset cocktails and dinner at the Azul Bar just down the road on the beach (fabulous)! Yes our room was tiny...but we really only wanted a bed and a shower, so it worked out really well with no last minute stress getting to the airport and juggling 1 extra bag than what we came with!! Nothing at all - just remember this is a basic no-frills hotel, so don't expect the fridge to be full of drinks and snacks.

Location, staff and for the price, the breakfast was ok. Very well priced hotel. The girls at breakfast serving were the best thing about the hotel. Very friendly and very helpful. There is no swimming pool. I was sure that I saw photos of a pool. I only stopped two nights though, so it was passable without the pool, but not for any longer. The noise from the traffic was terrible. I did not get hardly any sleep, bring ear plugs and it would be great to just stop over before a flight. I will be back for sure.

Top location, close to the beach and all cafes and restaurants. All went well, staff is very friendly and attentive.

First time in bali and it was worth every cent i paid. The staff are accommodating shout out to amri, sutra, aguns. Very recommended stay and staff I love everything

Location, the staff and value of money

It was noisy all the night with motor bike noises, may be this is issue on the rooms facing streets. Didn't felt comfortable with sleep disturbances.
