Hotel Malik Residency

The staff is nice and the location is good. It did not have common garden as advertised and a lot can be improved for comfort like warm reading lights and other small details.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Close to Leh Main Market. The food at the restaurant for lunch or dinner was excellent ? The men that run this home stay are very friendly & accommodating. It's not 1st class facilities, however, would definitely recommend The shower, however l, this seems to be a problem at all home stays

The staff were lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was good. We like the spacious room, that had plenty of windows and a nice outlook. We would definitely stay again Hot water only 6am-10am. We like to shower in the evening

The wifi was good The place is dirty and falling apart. I payed for all inclusive options, and according to them that's dinnerr and breakfast.. No boiled egg for breakfast so I only had jam toast with coffee. So don't expect much

Corner room had wonderful views. Room was spacious. I stayed for 6 days and the room was never swept, soap restocked or sheets and towels changed.

The hosts are very nice and competitive, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Really helpful staff, good prices for food and spacious rooms. Room service is available and was essential for our first day of acclimatising to the altitude. We stayed twice as it was so good. Helped us with taxi booking, advice on what to do and were always very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a great stay! A fridge is listed on the facilities but there wasn't one in either room (we have medication that should be refrigerated). They did try to resolve this for us by putting it in their in-house refrigerator but unfortunately there wasn't space.

Good location, budget friendly, very close to the main market. The rooms are big and quiet. It was all good, may be the hotel could have a terrace too.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location, not far from main market and some good food spots. Nice and light in the room. Room wasn’t very clean. We saw little moths flying around in our room. Could do with a deep clean. Room was quite small. Bed not that comfortable

The location staff behaviour and arrangements are exceptional and best in class Everything was perfect just it will be better if they increase the variety of food in breakfast and dinner

The hotel staff looked after us very well and met all our requests ... The room I booked was meant to have a washing machine, but it didn't. That was disappointing bcoz we brought limited clothes expecting to wash n wear. However, we fell sick the first few days n then there was two days of bad weather, so we used limited clothing so it didn't matter not having the washing machine.

Location was excellent, just a few minutes away from the main street. Rooms were great: spacious and comfortable. Saleem and his brother were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure we felt comfortable. They have laundry service and restaurant. They make really nice food. My friends and I really liked the Kashmiri chicken. I initially booked two rooms for two nights at Malik for my husband and friends but we ended up extending it. We went on several 2-3 day trips around Ladakh and then come back to Leh for a night at Malik. Thank you for everything. We will come back again and will continue to recommend.

The hotel was a great place to stay within easy walking distance to the town centre. The staff, especially Saleem, who was our main contact, were friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi connection was good.
