The person at the reception was ok. The room smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom did not have proper ventilation. The window from the washroom opened in the hallway itself which is weird. The double bed had 2 separate mattresses which gave a gap in between. Mattresses were not comfortable. Overall an old hotel which should not charge what they are charging.

Location, good clean accommodation. Lovely staff Check in/ out was slow and had to go back to pay the bill as it was wrong at first.

Location was superb, just a 5 min walk from the market. Staff was polite and service was prompt. Ros were large with a balcony. On our second visit we got a room connected to the garden sit-out, which was very refreshing and comfortable. Room and bathroom cleanliness should be improved.

Great, clean and modern hotel in a great location- quieter than the centre but just a 10 min walk to the main shopping area. The food available was very good, I really enjoyed the variety, great mix of Indian and Asian. The staff were exceptionally helpful and knowledgable about the local area and activities. The owner also owns a trekking company with a lodge up in the mountains. He was exceptionally helpful when I suffered with altitude sickness and organised a truck to take me and my motorbike back to Kargil at a very reasonable price. Earlier the manager was also able to arrange the rental of another motorbike for me which arrived literally in 15 mins again at a great price when I was prevented from riding north by the taxi union on my Delhi registered bike. If you are coming to Leh and are perhaps unfamiliar with India or hoping to take part in local activities and treks this would be an ideal hotel to stay at. The people here know how to take care of you and help you enjoy your stay. Very good value too compared to similar hotels. I will be coming back to Leh and will stay here again ! Nothing, this is a genuine little gem of a hotel, well run by helpful and enthusiastic people.

Great staff, very responsive. Room and bathroom are modernly furnished and we had a great balcony. We had 2 twin beds together instead of one king bed so not comfortable as a couple.

Breakfast was good with variety of spread including south Indian, which is otherwise rare. Its expensive for the value we derive. They refused to switch on the heater when we needed. We cut short the stay by a day and they refused to refund.

the staff and food ! the lack of coordination between sales team and the hotel. This time too the hotel did not know that we had paid an advance prior to our second visit within a week. Hotel Had to reach out to sales department to resolve the same.

hotel was spotless, the staff could not do enough for guests, the owner went beyond what I would have reasonably expected. The food was cooked fresh and well presented I found no issues at all with the hotel
