It's a well kept hotel in a good location.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Not much selection for breakfast but that was the only down side of my stay.

Hotel obviously older. Room had a funky smell but was clean. Towels pretty thin. Breakfast OK but not great.

The hallways had a strong unpleasant smell, and both the hallways and main lobby were extremely hot and uncomfortable. The hotel felt dated overall. The TV in the room was outdated, the Wi-Fi signal was weak and made uploading videos very slow, and the toilet seat in our room was broken. We also had to make multiple trips to the front desk for basic items. Pool towels had to be checked out instead of being available in the pool area, and there were no blankets or bedding provided for the sofa bed, so we had to go downstairs to get them. The pool and hot tub were the best parts of the stay. Both were enjoyable, and the pool water appeared clean, although the pool area itself showed noticeable wear. Breakfast offered a decent variety, including waffles, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and mini chocolate-frosted donuts. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t match the selection. The biscuits were dry, and the gravy was not very good. Overall, breakfast was just average. Between the broken toilet seat, weak Wi-Fi, worn facilities, unpleasant odor, hot common areas, and the extra trips to the front desk for basic necessities, the hotel did not feel like a good value for the price. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

The location was the best thing about this hotel. Everything. The hotel looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in several months, the COVID distancing stickers were still on the floor, the pool area was filthy with dead and living spiders along with other insects as well. The free breakfast was the worst offering of a continental breakfast I have ever seen. The tub did not drain properly so when taking a shower, you are standing in water as well. Not a good experience overall.

Do not stay here. I chose this hotel based on the pictures and description on Expedia. When we checked in, it was clear that the pictures were outdated/misleading as to what the property actually is like. The pictures shown on Expedia are brighter and make the hotel look newer and nicer than it is. Everything in reality is dingy and dirty. Upon entering the room, I saw hair in the toilet. The drain on the sink was broken, so that the sink did not drain. One of the lights didn’t work in the room. It was very dark and dingy with stains everywhere. At first, I decided to just stick it out. We went to use the pool and there was a sign saying that you had to get towels from the front desk, one per person, and you couldn’t take them to the room meaning you have to walk through the hotel damp. We went to the front desk to get a towel, and the two staff members were watching the security camera calling a guest a curse word loudly multiple times. When we got their attention, the towel had holes in it. The pool is tiny and both it and the hot tub were cloudy. It was very difficult to sleep as we could hear any time anyone was walking around. The air conditioner was extremely loud. Breakfast was undercooked, very few items, and watered down juice. There was also a sign saying not to take food to guest rooms. I decided to move hotels and ask for a refund based on the overall low quality of the hotel. They would only refund one night of the three. I would never stay here again.

The property was nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed here before and it was better than others in the area so we came back. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was a bit ‘ho hum’ but we don’t eat much anyway. The faucet in our room was a bit dodgy because the handle wasn’t attached. The plug in the sink didn’t work either so you just wash your face with the water running. We will likely stay here again next time we are in Lenexa.

Good location Somewhat dated and a little run down. Price seemed high for the quality.

Exceptional

The room was okay. The bed was very comfortable. The decor was dated. The bathroom door wouldn’t fully shut and no exhaust fan. It was good for night’s stay. Breakfast offering was okay but no eggs. It was quiet and not crowded which was nice. All in all a good value.

They charge a $50 fee for im guessing damages and the guy at the front desk was unsure if we would get that back or not.

Everything was stained from the towels to the sheets. Locks for room broken. The worst part was the AC was turned off on the hall and in the room. Due to that we couldn’t get room cool. Breakfast was a throw away. Rock biscuits we got so sick.

Low quality in general, e. g. Toilet seat was cheap plastic, poorly installed. No ventilation and no functioning exhaust fan in bathroom.

Nothing. Everything.

The place needs an update. Small TV and not much of a breakfast for the price.
