The building consists of an old part and a new part. In the older section, the floors are made of wood, meaning we could hear every footstep through the ceiling. This was very annoying, especially in the early morning. If a guest is assigned such a room, this should be disclosed beforehand. The room maintenance also needs attention: the plastic handle on the hairdryer was sticky to the touch, which felt very unsanitary. Furthermore, when the hotel is at full capacity, the spa becomes overcrowded. It seems there is no limit on how many people can be in the spa or sauna at one time, which made it difficult to relax.

Friendly and welcoming staff! After hour check in was easy and seamless. Breakfast buffet had good variety and was delicious. We weren’t able to use the sauna as it closed at 2000 and we didn’t make it in time after our supper reservations which was the only downfall, however not to fault Das Stoaberg!

Interior and breakfast exxellent:) Its an old farm house... starting 6:00 you can hear thr other guests waking up:/ but otherwise great stay!!

We were worried about the lower price in comparsion with nearby hotels, but everything was great. Hotel has very good location with excelent breakfast, self service bar and wonderful views from the garden and pool. Bus stop is very close and the bus runs once per hour. Hotel also provide you local card with free transportation and some discounts for activities and attractions

Breakfast was great. I liked the quiet surrounding. Beautiful abd surreal. I didn't like my room. It is an attic (not hotel's fault) but it had some bad smell.
