B&B Camera Bellavista

The host, Luigi, was extremely kind and helpful. He made a delicious breakfast every morning and made a reservation at a fantastic restaurant for us. The room was very comfortable and clean with a spectacular view of the water and castle. The walking path and bus into town were very close to the B&B and Luigi walked us there to make sure we knew where they were.

The property is located high above Lerici and the Gulf of Poets, thus offers a fantastic view of the city, the gulf and surroundings towns. It is also well connected by bus to Lerici, La Spezia and towns nearby. Bus stops less than 100 meters from the B&B. And the bus stop is where a footpath to Lerici’s waterfront commences. The room is spacious and bright. It provides a spectacular vantage point to enjoy the scenery below. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is also large. Luigi, the host, is gracious and friendly, and he provides helpful information to enhance the experience of our visit. Breakfast is rather skimpy. We were hungry by the time we walked down to Lerici.

The manager Luigi is so attentive, kind and always there to help you find great restaurants, hiking trails etc. He prepares a wonderful breakfast with a perfect view of this beautiful town. The room and bathroom are large and are complete with everything you need. The bed is so comfortable. And parking is right outside the B&B. Perfect arrangement!! Thank you so much Luigi? There is a walking path to go down to Lerici center just across the street. It is a steep path with many stairs. You may have to consider this if you have trouble walking.

Our room (aptly named Bella Vista) had an unbelievably gorgeous view of the Bay of Poets into the Mediterranean.. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom with private hallway. Hannan and Luigi were very helpful and accommodating.Free parking close by. Leave the car there, as it is hard to park downtown. It is only a 20 minutes walk downhill to Old Town Lerici and the ferries to Cinque Terre. (Steep descend down a pedestrian pathway, partially steps, so not for everyone, but I could do it with two compromised knees). Free white bus Linea Verde, brings you back up the hill (or down). Linea Blu takes you to San Terenzo, the twin city, where the Shelleys lived. If you are up to it, you can walk back to Lerici along the bay promenade (3.7 km). Lerici is amazing by itself. No need to stay in the hamlets of Cinque Terre with all their tourists. Seriously, stay here. If you luck out, and no room with a view is available, the breakfast room has the same amazing panoramic view. Tip: buy your ferry ticket on your day of departure, as weather and sea conditions change all the time. On our day in mid-May the harbors at Rio Maggiore, Manarola and Vernazza were closed and we could only disembark at Monterosso, which ended up working out well. We loved seeing the coast and it's famous little towns from the sea.

The room has a spectacular view of the town, ocean and surrounding area. Luigi was friendly and gave us ideas about what to do in the area. He made great, fresh croissants every morning. It wasn’t clear in the description what the “property” and layout actually are. The B&B is several rooms in a larger building of other tenants. The entry to our room was open to the hall (locking door and half wall). Inside there was the bedroom w a separate door that also locked. Bathroom was spacious and for our private use. It was basic but clean. Breakfast was in Luigi’s quarters which was awkward because it felt like we were intruding in his space, but also there was no privacy for our conversation. It was all ok but not exactly what I expected.

Absolutely fantastic view over the ocean!! Luigi is a very friendly and helpful host and gentleman. Really enjoyed the stay.

The room is clean and cozy, with a super nice view on the gulf. Very convenient position to visit the town. The host is super nice and friendly, and the breakfast is a big plus!

Absolutely amazing View and very kind owner!

The view was to die for. The room overlooks the harbor and castle. Very picturesque. The free bus up the hill was a plus. The breakfast was wonderful, as well as the hosts. They were very friendly and helpful!:) There are tall narrow walkways with cute shops and lots of restaurant options. Lots of history including a castle. People with mobility problems might have a hard time. We are seniors, and are active so we were fine. It was about a 15 minute walk down to town. Or you can take the S line for about $1.50, and the free Green line back up.

The view from the room is amazing. Despite the location is not central there is the bus taking everywhere for free. The owner is very nice, he prepared breakfast for us even thou we missed the slot in the morning. Our coffee saver! Nothing major.

The views are amazing. The bed is very comfortable The place is extremely clean. Te breakfast was very good Take into consideration that to arrive to the building you need to climb some stairs.

A room with a view - that's the perfect description. Beautiful panoramic overlook of the La Specia bay. Very friendly host and excellent Italian breakfast. Everthing easy going. Parking slots in front of the house and nearby bus service to Lerici harbour. Perfect spot for a visit of La Spezia and Cinque Terre. My absolute reommendation!

Our accomodation was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable room and large bathroom. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning.The view of Lerici was absolutely breathtaking. Luigi was a wonderful host, interested and informative. We would love to return.
