San Lorenzo - Boutique Hotel & SPA

The views of the sea, volcano & mountains were amazing. The staff were great with responding. Standard room was very small & no view. Air conditioning was a problem the first night and kept turning off every single hour. Also, the breakfast isn’t worth the extra money in my opinion. They have a machine for your morning coffee needs. Not fresh espresso like every other place around Italy.

This hotel is absolutely magnificent. It has stunning views and is very classy. It has a nice pool overlooking the mountains and a restaurant with food that looks great. They have a lot of variety for breakfast and was the first place that provides a mochachino coffee. I highly recommend this place for beautiful views and luxury. The rooms were spacious and they pay close attention to detail. I loved the zodiac theme of the rooms. Honestly, this place is great for a romantic get-away. There is limited parking and the quality of the breakfast wasn't amazing, but certainly enough to fill you up. Although, it could have been a poor batch as it was a buffet style. The roads leading to the hotel are very bendy and narrow, but this is an Italian mountain, so my comment is more of a warning for those who struggle with such roads rather than a poor review. All in all, it was a delightful stay, and we intend to return to appreciate those views more fully.

It was a great stay at the hotel. Even though the hotel was 30 minutes away from the nearest beach/town the pool with the view more than made up for that. The rooms were clean, not Monica clean, but clean non the less. The rooms vere very well though out and maintained, all in all a great hotel with awesome staff! The balcony in the room was quite dirty and the drain wasn't cleaned (on the balcony). The towels, while larger than any other towels we have ever seen in a hotel room, were very thin, like washcloth thin, which was a little annoying, but not even close to a deal breaker.

Beautiful hotel! The sunset is amazing ??, good value for money and hour from Positano by car. Food at restaurant could be better, we appreciate cooking and that is quite important to us. Everything else perfect!

Exceptional

The view! It's fantastic, the pool area terraces have a fantastic vibe. In the area there are some interesting small, affordable restaurants. The reception staff was friendly and helped to sort out a few problems that came up. They made the stay better. The owners of this hotel must decide what they want: either a place for events (weddings, baby showers, private parties), or a place that caters for hotel guests. They try to have both, and it doesn't work, at least for the guests. The hotel is impossible on weekends when there are events. No parking space, limited pool use, noise, children running around the bedroom corridors knocking on doors, loud music until very late. Without events, the hotel is quite relaxing. It needs some maintenance here and there, and the breakfast is sub-par for a 4-star hotel. Really, avoid this hotel on weekends. Otherwise, it can be a nice place.

The scenery from this location was excellent It was more geared for weddings and long way from other facilities

You could have a nice view from sea and sunset Hotels Restaurant has the best Neapolitan Margarita Pool is so nice There was a young man at pool, He is very helpful and polite There is free parking Location!So much narrow roads takes almost 30 minutes from inside villages to reach there where Hotel is. Airconditioner (AC) in the rooms works just one hour,then you have to turn it on again.So during night while you sleep every hour you notice its hot and you have to get up out of bed and go turn it on. Breakfast ! Mostly are remained from last night restaurants food.No cheese,Not much salty choices but good sweeties. Hair dryer in my room was broken. When you take shower water is gathering in the bathroom floor and no way to dry out.

The staff were fabulous!! They upgraded our room, it was so clean and had amazing views from the balcony!! The breakfast was actually amazing! It was served to us by a lovely waiter! He just kept whacking food on the table! The croissants are to die for !!!! There was no negatives about this hotel!! The only downside was the road to get up to the hotel. We had a very wide UK car and it was a bit tight. Would 110% definitely stay here again!!
