Lexington Expo Hotel by IHG

This place has really gone down hill. I stay here at least once per year and it gets worse every time. The staff is always nice and it was going through renovation. My room was newly renovated, but it was nasty. There were tooth picks on the floor, the mirror in the bathroom looked like it has mouthwash all over it. The floors in the bathroom had something on it. It was brown, so only one could imagine what that would be. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. The shower was filthy. The body wash was empty. The breakfast was not bad, but they got rid of the refrigerator that had the milk and yogurt. There were no forks and the poor lady who stocked the area was asking for some but the staff acted like she was asking them to hang the moon. They used to have a bar area that served free beer during the week but that’s gone now. I think I will find a different place to stay from now on which is really sad because it’s so convenient for me, but I’ve given them too many chances and have disappointed too many times. Y’all really need to step it up.

Quiet, clean, friendly staff!

It was good. Nothing bad to say due to they were doing renovations. The new items were good. Body wash in bathroom was empty but I had my own. I will stay again I love the location.

We were assigned. Well when we opened the door the room was not cleaned. Beds were not made. The next room we had to move due to a strong order. I will never stay in that establishment again. I should have gotten my money back. I strongly recommend that no one stays at this hotel.

Great room with plenty of space and parking

We had to cancel our room and leave. It was moldy and smelled musty.

We have stayed here for many years and it used to be great. But it has just gone down hill. I know they just got bought out but the rooms were not cleaned well. There was underwear left in a nightstand drawer when we got in our room. There were fingernail clippings in the pull out couch. My mother in laws room, the pull out couch there the sheets were completely soiled. After taking a shower in the bathroom, the mirror had steam everywhere except in a perfect square in the center. It was just very odd. It is just not what it used to be. The room did not feel clean. Underwear was left in a night stand drawer in the room. Pull out couch had fingernail clippings in it. My mother in laws room, the pull out bed sheets were completely soiled so no telling when the last time it was checked. The breakfast in the morning has gone down hill.

We just stayed for 1 night, bed was comfortable. The hotel was in the middle of a remodel. There was a strange odor in the hallways but the hotel staff was friendly. Would probably stay here again

Friendly staff, spacious room,beds and pillows uncomfortable, road noise, no bathroom fan, faulty switches, took up breakfast an hour early, renovations still in progress.. not impressed

We tried 2 different rooms and they were awful. If the other area hotels were not all full, we would have left night one.

Lots of noise from emergency vehicles. Could have been a one off

Looked like a quick remodeling job. Baseboards falling off. Door lock loose, old shower, vanity pulling away from wall. Vanity too high, and the breakfast bar was mediocre. Empty condiments, attendant just sits at table on phone and watched TV instead of attending to bar. Plastic still around smoke detection at elevators on 2nd floor. Serious hazard.

The carpet and bedding didn't appear clean. I checked out immediately and went to another hotel.
