Location, clean room What is it about UK hotel staff? I have lived in, and stayed all over, Europe in the last 5 years. Almost universally the staff are friendly and helpful. In the UK, however, it always feels like you interrupting their day, more an inconvenience than a customer. They were not rude or miserable, just inattentive, leaving us to wait while they appeared to have more important things to do.

Stayed many times. Excellent location, comfortable twin double room with wharf view, very good breakfast, buffet type excellent selection of hot and cold food. Very noisy air-conditioner, having to arrive as soon as possible to ensure space in £10.00 a night car park. My vehicle too high for nearby multi-storey

The bar and dining area was nice and well Decorated. It was great to see a printer available and the welcome for dogs was really warm. Broken items in the room. Minimal toilet roll. Monosyllabic staff. Slow to resolve issues. Really awful food :(

city centre location, two double beds in the room, air con, good size room, great view over the water, biscuits! breakfast could have been warmer, bacon a bit more well done, maybe hotter plates would have helped keep it warm as all a bit lukewarm as I was eating it

Everything Nothing

Great location and a great price. And had ev chargers in the car park. The only negative I can think of is maybe a little tired in the corridor to the room.

Friendly staff, location and very clean rooms Price they charged us for a bottle of wine thought I had choosen a bottle of chardonnay for £28 only when we checked the bill it was £48 extortionate for a bottle of wine I would never pay that sort of money for a bottle of wine

The breakfast was good quality We paid extra for a view of the wharf but couldn’t see the wharf for the glass canopy. We stayed in room 207. We approached the staff to discuss this but was told they were too busy that night to do anything about it
