The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The property is very old. The bathtub is very slippery and hazardous to get in and out of as there are no guard rails. The property has no elevator on the ground floor so you have to carry all your luggage up the stairs. The staff is very helpful and do offer to help but if you are with a family it becomes a challenge to get all the bags up to your room.

Great staff, very clean hotel with a great location. There was no elevator from ground floor. We had to carry luggage 2 flights of steep steps to arrive level 1 then take a very small elevator to level 2.
-
The room is spacious enough and have nice view The elevator starts from 1st floor which make dealing with luggage more difficult

none

Great location, right next to the center of Lisbon, very easy to walk or take public transport, especially from the airport.
-
Locations is near everything The building is a little old, the lift is an old style one.
-
Breakfast very basic

The bathroom had zero infrastructure: no toilet paper holder, no towel racks except for a tiny one that could not hold the three towels we had in a three-person room. The shower space was also tiny and you had to hold the shower had to get it in an adequate angle. Pillows were also sub-par and the airco was hard to set up properly. The room could also use some rennovation.

Location Elevator as advertized

Break fast was fair. Awesome coffee machine for breakfast. Good location. Friendly front desk. Close to everything and lots of restaurants. Tiny elevator. No coffee or kettle in the room. No cups or glasses either.

I liked the room and location of the hotel. Stairs!
-
The only downside of the room was the beds, they were very uncomfortable, the sleeping pad was too hard for us.
-
The hotel is located at a place where junkies get together during the night and shout till morning. Also the front door of the hotel faces garbage containers and the area does not look good.

I liked the location of the hotel and the employees, nothing else! The rooms were unacceptable, the view was horrific of an abandoned old building like a trash yard, the rooms were not anything like the photos they advertised, they have not been renovated, they were way too small, water came in from windows, there was no internet either.

Location is terrific, staff are friendly. The room (#307) was extremely small (no more than 4m X 3m). The room looked like it shouldn't even exist in that location...more like an after-thought to cram another room on the floor between two hallways. Lighting was poor. Bathroom: shower door missing, water leaked out all over the floor. Told front desk but nothing was done. TV didn't work, also told front desk but nothing was done. Toilet did not flush properly...had to use the shower cord to fill the toilet for it to flush. The fan in the bathroom was too small to even attempt to clear the steam from the shower. When we closed the door of the room from the outside hall, the entire wall shook--like the door wasn't framed properly and the wall wasn't properly attached to the floor. Could hear everyone walking up and down the hallway and when people walked past our room, the night table and everything on it shook. The floor in the hallway seemed to be the same wood floor that ran under the wall into our room--no stability. Tiny window about .75m wide in the bedroom looked across to some other person's hotel room window. You could barely stand at the bathroom sink without touching the toilet. Although the ceiling in the bedroom is tall (about 3.5 m), we could still hear the people above us stomping around like elephants. The head of the bed in the room must be next to the bathroom in the next hotel room because we could hear the squeaks of taps and flushing of toilet every time it was used. The in-room safe also did not work...batteries held in place with tape. I have stayed in Guest Houses in Thailand (for 1/10 the cost of this place) that were better. We paid almost $176 Canadian per night for this. Not worth the price!! Looked online on Booking.
