Don Paco
About Don Paco
This beautiful hotel is set in a restored convent dating from the 17th century, just off Sablón beach in the pretty village of Llanes. The Don Paco lies beside the old town walls and seafront promenade of Llanes, in the Asturias region of Green Spain. The baroque style of the carefully preserved hotel building contrasts with the modern facilities it offers. These include a restaurant set in the impressive chapel, which still retains its original stonework and high, arched ceiling. There is also a comfortable lounge with authentic fireplace – ideal for relaxing with friends or family. A golf course is located nearby. The area is popular for hiking and cycling. Those looking to take advantage of the region’s pleasant climate will enjoy use of the terrace garden or reduced rates at a local golf course. Free parking is available for guests 164 feet from the hotel.

Liked location & parking was easy. Front desk very helpful in guiding us to and through the National Park. Very hard to reserve - had to charge a dollar & once that was approved, then the reservation went through - many emails back & forth before we received confirmation. No mattress pad on the bed felt unsanitary, paper cups in the room made the room feel cheap - we would have appreciated a wine glass. Thought breakfast was included (our fault I guess), but it was unclear who had to pay & who didn't & then it was expensive.

Ana at the front desk was wonderful and so knowledgable. Her English was also excellent! Wish they had a kettle or coffee machine in the room.

Beautiful, renovated historic building right near restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Parking was just 50m away at a sister hotel. Our room was clea, renivated, and modern. The view from our corner unit windows was beautiful. We'd come back to stay again.

Great location, clean comfortable room with lovely beds, and gracious staff Nothing!

Good location a few blocks from the center of Llanes. Our room facing south had beautiful views of the mountains. The a la carte breakfast was a good value relative to most hotels. The dining room in the converted chapel is gorgeous. There's free parking at a sister property a block away. Why can't European hotels put fans in their bathrooms? It's damp in Llanes. A fan to vent the steam of the shower would be nice.

Decor did not have a lot of character. Bed was hard.

Beautiful hotel in the old town of Llanes, on the Camino del Norte. The on-site restaurant was gorgeous although we did not eat there. The front desk staff were very accommodating, letting us know via WhatsApp when our room was ready since we had arrived earlier than the check in time. The room was comfortable as were the beds. The hotel is very close to many restaurants and shops as well as several grocery stores. A wonderful location. It was pretty loud at night in that area, maybe because we stayed a Friday night. The room was too warm to close the window.

Everything in Don Paco is above standard, breakfast is generous plus it has a premium location. I wish I had a coffee Nespresso machine in the room, but it is only because I love coffee at soon as I wake up

This is a great location in town, the room was so comfortable, the shower was nice, the staff was super sweet and is happy helping you with any questions you might have. Close to down town. Food options on sight that were good. The bed was comfortable and the view from the room was lovely.

The location was ideal in Llanes. The beds and room were incredibly clean.

It’s such a cool building on the inside - especially the dining area. The room was a good size, and was quiet. I appreciated the eco products, and having a comfortable bed with plugs nearby. The location is perfect. Everything is closer than you thinking Llanes, and Don Paco is perfectly located for exploring. The staff was very friendly and I was able to check in early, which can’t be guaranteed but I always appreciate when I can do so. Just a great place to stay.

The restaurant and terrace were beautiful. Food was great. The bathroom was modern and the beds were comfortable. The hallways felt institutional - I appreciated the history of the building but the hallways could have used some more warmth/modernity. It was very humid too - it would be nice to have a fan in the room or air conditioning. We stayed here primarily as an access point to the Picos. It would have been appreciated if you offered a picnic brunch or lunch to take away for hikers.
