Set in gardens, at the foot of the Sierra del Cuera Mountains, La Quintana del Cuera is a 10-minute drive from Llanes Beach. It offers 2 heated outdoor pools, free WiFi and free parking. Heated rooms offer views of the garden and mountains. Some have a terrace or balcony. All feature a TV, safe and sofa bed. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Breakfast is available in the room or in the restaurant terraces. There is a bar and 2 covered terraces overlooking the pool and surrounding countryside. La Quintana del Cuera also arrange baking workshops on Saturdays from October to June. Staff at reception will provide more details. A laundry service is available and there is a children’s playground. Hiking is popular in the area and the Picos de Europa National Park is a 45-minute drive away.

The owners were very welcoming, friendly and very helpful, offering excellent advice about the local area. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was generous.

Lovely place. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, amazing views over the mountains, and lovely pool area. Quite expensive - €150 per night for our room (which slept 3, but we were only 2 people).

We loved the pool, the small size of the hotel and that it was run by a family. It was such a beautiful tranquil place to stay. Views from the pool were stunning. Breakfast was delicious - we loved the homemade donuts. Great coffee as well. Everyone was friendly and the family who own it were very welcoming even though we don't speak any Spanish they always tried their best to help us and had lots of recommendations on where to visit. There is an option to have an evening meal there if you don't want to go out. There are two good restaurants nearby that are walkable. I thought it was wonderful and felt very at home there. Was sad to leave. A mini fridge and kettle and mugs in the room would be have been perfect. Maybe some healthy options for dinner - a salad or vegetable option. Minor points that wouldn't stop us visiting again.
