From the minute we arrived the reception staff were amazing! Even got an upgrade and 2 free drinks as we were there for our daughter’s wedding. There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

The welcome at front desk, Lauren was great with fantastic local knowedge. The rooms are very clean. The Location is close to local transport. The breakfast is very fresh with great options, and a reasonable price. The only sticking point was the bar staff, had poor English. I had to repeat several times my order as he could not understand simple words like Beer fo example, we found that very frustrating. So we ended up using the pub opposite instead.

Great location, staff were mostly really lovely, they clearly care about customer satisfaction, good sized room, clean, great rainfall style shower, asked for extra towels and pillows and staff gladly helped with that request. Toiletries provided are nice quality if you forget your own. Plenty of seating at breakfast and the atmosphere was pleasant, nicely decorated restaurant, terrace and bar/ seating area. I also requested a sewing kit when my dress strap broke which they had on hand, always appeared happy to help which makes such a huge difference to a stay. Some parts of the bathroom could use an update, our shower leaked all over the floor each time we used it and there was a lot of limescale build up in some areas. Lifts (elevators) could also do with some updates as hard to push buttons and a bit creaky! (However I do appreciate needing to use room card to access) Pillows on the flat side, a firm plump option would be fantastic (personal preference though!). It would be lovely at breakfast if there had been some more egg options (maybe a larger quantity of fried eggs) as both mornings these had run out and we arrived at 7:30 first morning and 9am the next.

Located next to a very nice restaurant. Easy access to public transportation.

Good location for Islington area. Close to angel tube and upper street shops, bars and restaurants. Large quiet room with good shower and air con. I appreciated access to the peaceful executive lounge for a simple coffee and pastry breakfast. Would have liked a second pillow and a couple of biscuits in the executive room.
