We loved being above the pub. It was lovely being able to have a pint before retiring to our room for the evening. The room, including the bathroom, was more spacious and accommodating than expected. Breakfast was fine - well attended by staff. We were initial concerned about the location, but happily able to catch a bus from just out front of the hotel. The train station, we discovered was only a couple of blocks, easily accessible. The only drawback was the lack of a lift. We were traveling for many days and had heavy bags to lift up the (45) steps. Although we had help from one of the staff members, it was still an effort going up an down the steps, especially after a long day of sightseeing.

Lovely, helpful staff; Prompt cleaning service & restocking of free coffee & tea; Gorgeous downstairs pub; Tasty breakfast with delicious yogurt pots and fresh pastries Lack of a good workspace in the room (e.g., chair to sit at); Pub limited hours during the week; Price seemed bit high for the neighborhood located in

The staff was amazing, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed interacting with them. The complimentary bottled water was a fantastic treat. Access to both the bus and underground lines were easy to navigate with Google Maps. It was a quick ride to the city center from the Jubilee line. The breakfast was presented beautifully and tasted great. The shower was slow draining, but once informed, the staff acted quickly to resolve the issue. The building and its architecture gorgeous! The rooms were well appointed and extremely clean. The stairs were a lot, but the staff helped us with our luggage. Would love additional area to store toiletries near the sink and in the shower, but overall, it was lovely. Our pub was definitely the nicest one in the area. We preferred going into the city or other neighborhoods to eat for lunch and dinner.

Staff was kind and helpful. Rooms were cozy and clean.

The pub and hotel were absolutely beautiful! The room was cozy and spotless. After a long day of traveling it was nice to relax and have dinner in the pub rather than going out and I’m so glad we did! The Indian dishes were out of this world, so flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. The morning spread for breakfast was also a nice change from the usual English breakfast. Not to mention the owner/staff was so kind and welcoming. I’d gladly stay here again! Nothing

Beautiful, Clean, Modern room, access to the pub. No lift, not noted in descriptions, 3 flights almost a burden for seniors but we made it. Otherwise lovely.

Beautiful Location

They were so helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was yummy and a beautiful park right next door.

Room was lovely, bathroom beautiful, very nice windows and AC worked well. Breakfast is a bit ho-hum and coffee needs an upgrade, for example a good espresso machine that can make cappocinos and offers non-dairy milks would be good. Location is not great, the high-street is a bit seedy and it's a drag to leave that sweet, well-designed pub/hotel and walk along a crap street to the tube a few blocks down. Alternatively, we Uber'd but that can be pricy and the area is a bit off the beaten path. Area/outside street/neighborhood

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and there was air conditioning..something you don't always get in London. The pub itself was beautiful inside and there was a very nice breakfast included. They call it continental breakfast but the variety was nice and included protein sources and homemade sour dough for toast. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was the best we had our entire time in London. Also a bus stops directly in front of the pub and takes you to Paddington station where you can catch a train to the airport or other locations. The jubilee line is a ten minute walk to the station. On arrival, we felt a little concerned about the area. It is an older part of town and looks more simple and run down than, say, the Kensington area. It is more of an international neighborhood. But right behind the pub is a park and an actual neighnorhood of row houses. We walked around to some of the basic shops one night and it was fun to get a feel for the people there. There was no refrigerator in the room but they did have a cooler with water bottles available to all and we put our leftovers in it one night...not lots of extra room but a little. But with the good breakfast included its not as needed. Also, breakfast didnt start until.7:30 so we missed it two of our days there as we had to be on the road by 7:00 to get to bookings. Two flights of steep stairs to rooms so consider that if you have mobility issues.

Quaint pub, close to Underground, very clean and comfortable room. The type of food in the pub and restaurant was a bit of a disappointment as we anticipated typical English pub fare but there were no choices for that. The Sunday Dinner was exceptional though.

Staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. Breakfast is simple but completely adequate for me. The pub dinner I had one of the two evenings was exquisite. The dinner we enjoyed at an Afghan restaurant across the street was fabulous. Odd, disagreeable odor in the hall and staircase. Room lacked a safe.

No recommendations for improvement.

Beautifully decorated rooms, attentive staff, and gorgeous pub Kilburn High Street is definitely a colorful and authentic part of London, a good choice for anyone having a personal connection with the area or wanting to experience London like a local.. but not the first choice if your are just a tourist.
-
Absolutely beautiful pub. The room we had was very large, and very well designed and finished I suppose being in a more upscale neighborhood might be nice but the room rates would skyrocket

Historical building, and hotel staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Nothing specific
