Stanley House

Location was good for hop on hop off bus. No lift with four pieces of luggage to carry upstairs. Bed was horrible , spring was poking out, pillows were flat as a pancake and a spider must have been in the bed because I have 12 bites. No room for two people with luggage. Television didn't work. Water in shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold. I would have left after the first night but would have not been refunded anything.

Good location for Victoria coach station. Staff were bright and cheery. Small room ( was clean ) Narrow steep stairs. Although the property is going through an up grade there is a long way to go. Rather old and dated. Old travel award notices from the eighties and beginning of the century still on wall. Last award 2004. Breakfast was adequate at best.

Tourist trap shit pit The place and furniture need proper refurbishment

Location, friendliness of staff. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was okay but sausages were poor quality. Decor was very tatty, with wallpaper peeling off of the ceiling, very old furniture. The TV wouldn't get the basic channels. Rooms are very noisy, mainly from rooms above.

Not too far from Victoria station,very helpful staff Tv didn't work ,no kettle or fridge in room although vending machine in hallway.would not bother to much with breakfast,hot dog sausage,2eggs and beans

The staff that serve in the breakfast was accommodating. The toilet was clean. The staff in the reception didn't explain about the free hot drink in the vending machine, and they didn't inform us that they will make the room, change the towels and i thought there's no replacement and i requested a new one later the new towels was found under one of the bed duvet. The room really smells that I really need to buy spray refresher. No hanger and the bed really smells.

Location was close to Victoria When we arrived at room there was damp over 3 walls as you can see in photo room was not fit for purpose and as booked through yourself unable to give refund on room told to contact yourselves for it

Breakfast was lovely and the staff at breakfast were so kind and helpful despite plenty of work they had as the hotel was fully booked Our room was ready in advance but the reception kept us waiting until 12.30 sharp before they gave us the key, quite funny. You are allowed to do it, guys, yes. Is it impressive? No. Would you lose anything by giving us the possibility to relax in the room a bit earlier? No :-) They also requested my ID even though I had a booking number and paid in advance. I didn't have any ID card on me, trust me, i wouldn't have been allowed to the room if I hadn't reminded myself about an electronic ID I had on an app

The staff was really polite, the location was great and the breakfast was good. A lot of bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood if you don't want to go into Central London The room wasn't cleaned good before I got there

Location Toilets , you can’t take shower and wash basin is too much small

I like the location of the hotel, the staff was friendly The hotel's room are in satisfactory condition, the bathroom and sink are very, very small, we could barely fit in the shower, the floor was not very clean, there were rabish on the ground under the desk, there was no room for our luggage either

The service was good, staff were friendly and tried to help as much as possible. Location for the hotel was good so much do in the area. The hotel itself was terrible, the infrastructure was appalling. The hotel itself looked like it was rundown, the rooms look like they haven't been renovated for over a decade. Toilet door was broken so couldn't shut it properly, shower didn't look clean either. There's alot of things I can say that are bad but overall this hotel is in a awful condition.

Location was good No air con, fan didn’t work , only boiled or fried egg and watery beens for breakfast, vending machine empty, no tea or coffee facilities in room , big language barrier at breakfast.

Breakfast was not good and very limited. No kettle, fridge or fan in the room.
