We liked it all - in no specific order - the welcoming staff (Tina is a gem), the decor, the spacious rooms, the cleanliness, the big towels, the free snacks, the Netflix account, the location, the food, the water in the fridge (and the fact that the bottles are glass and not plastic). Also that it’s possible to borrow adaptors if you’ve left them at home - and that there is an iron and an ironing board. No dislikes at all, but the steep stairs up to the rooms can be a challenge for some people.

Gorgeous room, loads of lovely thoughtful extras. Fab location if you fancy a bit of real London rather than a tourist trap.

We had an issue with a leaking tap and was promptly offered an alternative hotel and transfer to this one with a complimentary drink. Both hotels were lovely and the staff were excellent Nothing

Lovely clean room, tastefully decorated, clean modern bathroom nice extra touches such as toothbrush & toothpaste and crisps. Nice quiet street 15 minutes walk to King’s Cross Lots of stairs which is fine for me but something to bear in mind if you’ve difficulty climbing stairs.

Lovely rooms, comfortable and had everything needed for a lovely stay. The little touches made a difference such as robes, snacks, complimentary drink. Food downstairs was good too.

A friendly welcome plus drink; room size and facilities including extensive range of toiletries and complimentary tea, coffee, bottled water, crops & biscuits (Rm7). The air con was broken in our room during a very hot weekend. We were forewarned and the staff gave us a fan. There was nothing more they could do as the engineer came and was unable to fix it quickly. It was warm in the room, but we were well looked after.

Spacious room, pleasantly cool and quiet in a heatwave, pleasant staff, comfortable bed, good location for where we wanted to be. Really quite expensive for a pub room.
