Snowdon Chalet Motel

I was very pleased with the improvements that had been made to the rooms since the last time I had stayed here with my husband. Replacing the carpets with vinyl flooring made the biggest difference in the ability to keep it clean and fresh smelling. Everything in the room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The Grill was a great recommendation for dinner, and we had an excellent meal. Thanks. The outside of the building has not improved since my last stay and is not inviting from the street. I realize that not everything can be done at once as improvements are expensive. However, as soon as you can do some cosmetic work to the building and grounds, I think you will probably have a more positive review. There is also something that you cannot do anything about....there are no attractions in the area during the warm season.

Everything was exactly as we were told. This is a delightful, laid-back motel. One bed was very soft and one bed had nice firmness. They were not equal. I should have checked out both beds before beginning a night of sleep!

Road noise could be an issue when windows and door are open¹

Breakfast. We found their on-the-go breakfast options very well organized, offering many choices to accommodate any taste. The rooms are very clean, warm, and comfortable.

The bathroom and bedroom were so clean! Everything exceeded expectations! If we could have stayed longer!

Owners and room were perfect

I stayed in the motel years ago. I loved it then and I really enjoyed it now under new ownership. It is a vintage motel with all the basic amenities, not fancy, but full of vintage charm, comfort, privacy, and great location if you like being in or near the mountains.

High price for the quality of the facility, but it was a peak foliage weekend!

Retro decor, nice firm bed, sodas in fridge, parking right outside the room, big lawn area with chairs to relax in, good location. Brighter light by bed to read by.

Friendly All the rules plastered all over

The room was large and clean. The beds were quite comfortable. There were plenty of towels. There were free snacks and breakfast was included. The staff was friendly.

Great retro motel. They have done a great job updating the rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast available in office in the morning. Very close to Magic Mountain. Will stay here again.

Location was great and the attention to everyone's health issues with the morning breakfast outdoors and the non confrontational check in was greatly appreciated when viruses are still out there and people are still being infected. For the immune compromised - this was a blessing. Nothing.
