La Mirage Inn - Long Beach

The room was clean air conditioned worked well, however too loud for me because I avoid using them unless absolutely necessary. Parking was good. Bed frame was made of some king of metal so every time my feet bumped it there was noise. I needed help with TV it would not turn on but staff came up and replaced remote promptly.

I didn't like any of it. To start with, the customer service was awful. It took 45 minutes for the guy to finally answer the phone when I was calling to tell them I would be a late check in so I didn't lose my room. Then when I checked in, he just handed me the room key without even telling me where the room was. The room number is just written in Sharpie on the card. Then we get up to the room and when I pulled the covers back on the bed there were several hairs in the bed and on the pillows. That was fun picking those off. There was cigarette burn holes in the bedding. The smoke detector looked like it had been ripped off the ceiling. There was no security chain or swing bar lock on the door. The toilet wobbled and clanked loud when you sat on it. The floor felt dirty like it hadn't even been swept. We had a king size bed and there were only three pillows instead of your standard four. I didn't even bother calling the front desk for another one because there was no phone in the room. The sheets and pillowcases were dingy and dirty looking. The air conditioner made lots of noise and sounded like there were pigeons in our room. If it wasn't 1AM when we got there, I would have found another hotel. We slept for a few hours and then got out of there. Don't waste your money on this place. The photos are very deceiving. I was VERY disappointed in this place. They should be ashamed of themselves for renting out a room that dirty.

Imma give it 4 stars. Affordable and decent enough especially in a pinch. Property wasnt the most upscale but was expected for the price and was well worth the value. . Staff was friendly, and room was clean

There was sufficient parking. It was loud. Hard to get out on PCH. Staff would not update my room card when I extended my stay by one day. Gave my roommate a new room key but would not give me one because he told me you only need 1 card. We originally were given 2.

It was very convenient, local to everything. Everything I did was within a 5 mile radius. Nothing, everything was wonderful.
