The Cove Hotel, Long Beach

Everything was great. Definitely booking again.

Some of my belongings were stolen by the housekeeping staff during my stay, and then I was blamed for my belongings coming up missing when I asked for them because the staff only produce some of my things and not all of them because they kept them for themselves instead of returning them to the owner

I liked the little bar/cafe with reasonable prices. The room was clean and very spacious.

It was just ok

We loved it here. My daughter loved playing with the chest game and in the pool!

Check in was excellent. Staff was friendly. Breakfast burrito was delicious in the morning (paid not included). My room and bathroom and linens were very clean. However, the outdoor furniture and pool area furniture are horrible - weathered and falling apart. Not inviting at all and definitely not as pictured online. Parking was ok but given location, there were some interesting characters in the parking lot. My car was not broken into but I wouldn’t have been surprised if it would have.

Great experience for our 2day pre cruise stay and 1 day post cruise stay. 30 minutes from airport. About 15-20 minutes to Long Beach cruise terminal. Hotel DOES NOT have a shuttle.

While the staff we lovely, the bed and bedding were not as nice as I would have expected. Bed was lumpy and squishy, and the pillows were old and worn.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the stay even better. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. The only suggestion I would have is to consider offering a free breakfast—it would make an already great stay even better!

room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable - the parking was secured - Although I didn't use the pool, it was active and people seemed to be enjoying it the overall neighborhood was a little sketchy, but that's not something the hotel had any control over - the room could have used more comfortable chairs, there was definitely room for a love seat, coffee table and a couple of soft chairs. they had hard chairs instead

Let me start with what’s okay about the hotel. The pool and front desk staff were fine. However, everything else was subpar. The walls were thin so you could hear people staying next to your room and the cleaning staff outside your door. It was so loud that any hope of sleeping in until 9 am was out the door! The thing that was most disappointing was the location. I know the hotel can’t help that, but this is not a place that we felt safe to walk around in (especially with 2 young kids). There are homeless people around the corner and sketchy folks in what seemed like every block. I would NOT recommended staying here!
