Allegria Hotel

Great location, and property.

The only issue I had was the poolside service. The drinks were horrible and the chips that they gave us with the chicken fingers expired in July 2025 I called one of the female servers over to tell her she grabbed the bag and walked away! I’ve been a server for years and I can say she was not nice at all she gave no apology no explanation and no substitute for the chips. Rude!!! I would not want her to work in my place of business.

The information about the deposit wasn’t clear. Maybe because I used Expedia to book the information, but paying almost 300 dollars for nonrefundable inclusions (when initially I was told it was the deposit), then being charged my last day as the “deposit” is very annoying

What I liked most about the hotel was the clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, and convenient location. The hotel had a relaxing atmosphere, and everything was well maintained. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again.

Staff are welcoming and responsive. The rooms could use a touch up at least and makeover at best. The amenities are terrific and food at the restaurant is very good. The elevators are slow at times and one can hear noise in the halls and from other rooms above and below.

Such a beautiful hotel that truly separates itself from the rest around the area! Everything from the rooftop pool down to the front desk staff was amazing! The front desk made you feel welcome from the check in to check out! Restaurants were great and you couldn’t ask for a better location! Property and rooms were outstanding and super clean! We’ll definitely be choosing Allegria from now on!!

The food needs improvement

We had a good time not enough options of food or drinks

Not like: Having to carry own beach chairs and no large umbrellas to use; hard pillows no way to get a good night's rest; poor room and bathroom ventilation - hung swimsuits overnight and still very wet next day; pool too small and overly crowded. Could not even use due to early closure for private event and next day swarm of kids. Definitely not worth $800/night

Rooftop was great! Now if only the attendant was more helpful with getting drinks. This place could be making twice as much. I had to go to the Mezzanine floor to get my husband and myself a drink. When we were ready for a second drink he told us to go back to the same bar where we got our first. He said “They make better drinks “. LOL. We just wanted to be waited on. Honestly the drinks from the Mezzanine bar were great!

All the staff was really nice. I never do fancy hotels and they made my trip feel really special thanks everyone. :)

Good location

It took a while to locate my Expedia reservation. I was supposed to get a call when the room was ready. That didn’t happen. Room was clean, AC good. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pool is beautiful but there were no towels for a good thirty minutes. I had arranged a 12pm checkout but after 11AM the key wouldn’t let us in the room. Very frustrating when traveling with my 91 year old mom to be stuck in hallway.

Room smelled musty the whole time

The hotel didn’t have a room ready on time. For $600 a night that shouldn’t be happening. When they finally had my room ready, they wouldn’t check me in because I didn’t have my credit card with me to pay that extra resort fee that they charge when you get there even though they had all my credit card information on the booking which was paid fully in advance.! this meant I had to wait for the elevators again and there are only two of them so you can imagine what it’s like when it’s busy, and go all the way back up to the rooftop deck to get my credit card so I could finally get into my room. Then when you want to go to the beach, they have these really horrible beach towels, nothing like what they used to be, and want to charge you $20 if you don’t return them at the end of the day..And- they give you your Beach pass and tell you it’ll cost $250 if you lose it!! lol They have bike rentals right on the premises, but it’s $25 for one hour. Nothing is complementary anymore even though you’re paying so much for the room and for a resort fee ! it just didn’t have the same feeling as it had a few years ago. Everything seemed to be a little bit of a hassle.. Also,I had to call maintenance right away because the air-conditioning in my room wasn’t working. Just be prepared to spend a lot of money! lol

We have stayed at the hotel multiple visits. Access to the beach is excellent. The hotel provides chairs, beach towels and passes. Couldn’t be easier. Since it’s on the boardwalk going for walks, food and fresh air is great. The staff especially at check in and Eddie have been extremely helpful. I did comment at check out that the tub faucet drips and the shower ceiling in room 619 is peeling.
