Aventuras Hotel

Very clean and safe feeling. The young man who greeted us was very helpful and nice (JD?) The room was spacious and the mountain views from our room were spectacular. The rooftop restaurant also had a nice vibe and the sunset view was beautiful. It’s pretty far from Loreto and the sea. The restaurant had plexiglass as railing, and it was so dirty that it ruined the view somewhat. The pool has no separation from the restaurant, and as older, fatter adults, we don’t enjoy exposing ourselves in bathing suits to the staff. Possibly this felt more awkward because there was no one in the pool and the restaurant was very slow, so staff were not occupied. Just placing some kind of screen between the restaurant and pool would help relieve the ick factor

It’s such a beautiful place! Not just the hotel but the community as well. Everything was perfect. No complaints

Great location

I was very impressed with this resort. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The provided breakfast was varied and very good. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was well prepared and served. There was live entertainment the first dinner evening, excellent. We hung out on the rooftop lounging area a couple of times. Thw weather was still a little cool for outdoor swimming but the pool was decent. Long beach walks were our go-to activity as well as sampling the other restaurants in walking range. I had thought the Adventuras tours left from the hotel to go fishing and whale watching. That was not the case and we had not rented a car so it was a little disappointing that way.

Cleam, great location, exceptional breakfast

STAFF, general room comfort/clenliness, housekeeping, shower, towels, kitchenette COULD NOT TURN ON THE HEAT. WE WERE TOLD IF THEY DID, AIR CONDITIONING WOULD BE TURNED OFF FOR OTHER ROOMS. IT WAS 60 DEGREES OUT AT NIGHT, NO ONE NEEDED AIR CONDITIONING AT NIGHT, BUT WE SURE NEEDED HEAT. MADE US QUITE UNCOMFORTABLE. Also, breakfast was identical every day except for how eggs were cooked, and for that there was limited choice, for example no omlette with extra charge.

Breakfast was perfect in every way. Food and location were excellent! 1) Very little seating on the roof deck that was not in the sun. Two lounge chairs with one umbrella on the entire deck, with two more double lounge chairs that could not be moved out of the sun. An employee verified that these could not be pulled into the shade. What's the point? Most people can only handle so much intense roof-top sun. 2) Desk in the room with no chair. Again, what's the point? No other place to sit other than the bed.

The staff were extremely accommodating in ensuring we had breakfast to go given that we had leave early. Nothing really. It was just a great stay.

The breakfast that was included was an actual sit down menu service experience= 5 stars with great options cooked up for you, not sitting in a warming tray, in a wonderful restaurant connected called "Ocotillo", which is the name of a dessert cactus that has orange blooms. The rooms were very modern with LED strip lights around the custom bed surround and bath vanity at night. Great WIFI and wifi tv. Great shower with actual hot water, slot drain, hand held and rainwater options. Roof deck with bar and pizza restaurant for sunsets. The rooftop pool was tiny (forget it except for dunking)- for swimmers, there is a community saltwater lap pool back behind the POKI restaurant, down the street and the ocean. We did a whale watching trip from Loreto and that was great- the Grey and Blue whales are basically right out in the bay, across closer to the islands. The pelicans were diving right off the beach for food. Great place! The restaurant has wonderful food at night, as well. We had the fresh "catch of the day" for 2 dinners and it was beyond perfect each time. The dessert was a Lemon custard pie that was more like a cheese cake, but on a bed of chocolate and caramel drizzles diagonally with fruit on top. So after a great dinner, the step down to the street level is not lighted, and needed an strip LED light along the step to be able to see the step down. That was the only bad part, no one fell, and I mentioned it to the concierge, and it might be fixed by the time that you go there!

Rooms were ultra modern. Great location. Very clean Pool was very small.

Breakfast was wonderful and appreciated it was included with the room It is a little bare in the room - no pictures on walls and it needs a rug (Jr Suite) to absorb some of the noise. However, the room was still very nice, just would like it a bit more cozy
