Hostel Vagamundo

Great location in a charming town. Clean room and they kept the bathroom and common areas clean. At times, a bit noisy, but actually got quiet at night. The kitchen and dining area is too small for everyone to use.

Not much storage space for backpack, especially when on top bunk.p

The hostel has a good location central to Los Llanos and friendly staff. The communal areas are quite small and felt somewhat "bleak". Also, despite having a private room it was quite noisy and a bit cold.

The staff was exceptionally helpful. Some very nice decorative touches. Outdoor seating areas. Kitchen was nice. Private room was maybe a pit pricey for a hostal.

The hostel is so cozy! Loved the decorations and the terraces! The bed was a bit more to the harder side, but the room was good!

Very friendly staff. Remarkably so, as I know that living at work can be challenging. Just two of us in the dorm with a dedicated bathroom. Decent amount of floor space. Nice outdoor areas. Easy walk to bus station and shops but just away from the busy areas. The widow opened onto a road, so some noise and air pollution if open, but not a busy road. A small kitchen needing queuing to access the cooker, with some people taking a long time to cook. But a good atmosphere around the challenge.

This Hostel was very good. Cleaning standards are excellent, and constant. The kitchen was great to use as it was clear and clean. It is all a bit shabby, needs a repaint in parts. Staff were excellent and very helpful. The best bit was the large, sturdy bunks and good mattresses. No swaying and rattling as the top bunk person turned over. I slept really well both nights.

The ambience is amazing, and the people volunteering there are extremely warm, welcoming and kind✨ A great place to meet good people and only 10 min by bus to the beach

Has everything one needs. Very friendly volunteers. I was very lucky with my roommates too. Comfortable mattresses. Big rooms. Cleaned every day. The area is well connected to beaches and central in Los Llanos (very cute town). Not as social as i had hoped (but still more social than other hostels on La Palma from what I’ve heard). No planned activities during my stay and most guests preferred to stay to themselves except during dinner times. The hangout areas weren’t so comfortable, the indoor ones felt a little bit depressing and the outdoor ones looked cute but were very small and in a courtyard in the middle of the hostel. Small kitchen, got very busy at night, especially because it closed at 10pm. Only the bottom bunk beds have curtains. Not directly connected to any hiking trails.

I had an amazing time at Vagamundo Hostel - the staff working there is the loveliest, open-minded and friendly crew. Great activities and cooking sessions. :) Nice and coozy beds and very clean bathrooms/ kitchen. The furniture and kitchen could be a little more up-to-date ?
