Casa Beny 1897 Guesthouse

What a gem of a place with an excellent location. I had read the reviews so fully expected to park a few blocks away and also to pack light as the second floor is up some steepish stairs. The room was gorgeous and spotless. The rooftop terrace lovely and my room had its own mini fridge in the terrace kitchen. My only regret is not having stayed another night.

The property was very nice We had asked several days prior to arrival with questions regarding the bathroom situation as the listing was unspecified and unclear. Since we never received an answer to our questions we choose to cancel 1 night to make sure of the bathroom setup. Once we arrived the property we headed to our room per the check in information only to find there was another guest in our suite. They more us to a less desirable room, saying it was a better choice/upgrade. Which it wasn’t ……. Never receive any explanation or price adjustment.

The property is perfectly located in Loule , close to shops , cafes, restaurants and the famous Mercado de Loule.It has a huge roof top balcony with the the most perfect view to watch sunsets Honestly I cant find anything wrong with the place…. The only thing that was not so nice . Were the noisy inconsiderate neighbors in the room next door.

Clean, comfortable, well appointed and great location

We enjoyed the rooftop terrace. Room was clean. Although the terrace was nice, it was unfortunate the the cushions for the chairs were all put away and a majority of the furniture was covered with drying laundry. We did not like reading signs like. "It is strictly forbidden to use the oven". That seemed harsh... and why couldn't we use the oven in the shared kitchen?

Very helpful staff! Located right in the center of the old town of Loule. Everything is right there.

Very central location. The Guesthouse was extremely clean and the best aspect was the large rooftop terrace with comfortable seating and shade areas. There was also a fridge for guests use. Good value. The location was central but it can be noisy at night.

Just like the pictures. Great location and Marta was beyond wonderful.

Bed size and very firm, we liked it. Overall room size was pretty small, not much room for luggage as bed took up lots of space. Very difficult to find a place to unload luggage and then find a parking place for the car.

Location was good. I loved how clean it was and the bed was comfy. The bed was small for 2 but very comfortable

We arrived late and left early morning so we barely met the host. But we forgot something and ask the host, she found it kept it for us to pick it up, so we finally met her. And she is extremely friendly and nice, and trustful. The property is very well located yet very quiet in the room at night, with huge bed and many good pillows. For that price, can’t find better Nothing. Just if you’re coming by car, some streets can be narrow or closed for some reason.

Lovely and classy home perfectly located in the heart of Loule. Gorgeous terrace where to relax ar day’s end before heading out. Best of all, Beny herself is a warm and wonderful host. This is where I’d stay again next time I’m in Loule.
