Noisy hostel next door.

The toilet in my room spontaneously erupted in my room. Bubbling noise and spewing for no reason in the middle of the night. I had to close the lid.

The location and the friendly staff who helped us book a van ticket. The room wasn't very clean and there wasn't any cleaning service for the four days we stayed. We were out of paper, shampoo, and shower gel and had to ask at reception for more as no one came to replace them. Towels and bed linen are quite old, so more greyish than white, which just seems dirty even if they were clean. The bathroom door wasn't closing properly. Generally, our room looked a lot more dated than the pictures, and for the price, I was expecting more.

The staff was wonderful. The owner was absolutely incredible- we needed to go to hospital late at night and the front desk staff tried to get us a ride but none were available so the owner drove us himself. We are so grateful. We also liked the location, comfortable stay.

It is wonderfully located in a quiet lane but very close to the Mekong, morning markets, night markets and major attractions. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfasts were healthy and delicious. The staff were very helpful in arranging transport to attractions outside of Luang Prabang. Nil

Everything! This is such a beautiful and cozy hotel. The owner and the staff are all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and abundant. The location is great, walking distance to many restaurants and interesting spots in the city. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel offers coffee and tea all day at the lobby. We had a lovely experience and would definitely come back in the future.

Positives - - Staff are very nice, great English. Able to leave bags for early check in - Good breakfast - Good location Negatives - - WiFi didn’t work in our initial room (Room ?) mentioned it to the owner who did try to resolve the issue but with no luck so arranged to move rooms the following day. - Water gets everywhere in the shower - Overcharged us when paying for the room. They have their own exchange rate which we had to call them up on. Managed to bring it down but still over payed by £8

A great hotel with a perfect location in Luang Prabang, right by the morning and night markets - but on a quiet side-street so you can avoid the noise. Our room (twin) was extremely spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again. There didn't seem to be a breakfast option - however free tea/coffee and bananas were available at reception, and there were many options for food in the local area.

just down the street from morning market. less than 10 minutes to night market. wifi worked ok but better in the front room. at the time of this review, it cost 160 Kip for a private car to airport. hot water was plentiful. they had filtered water station for refillable water bottles. Garbage was not changed during our 3 night stay. No toilet paper was refilled. bathroom fan did not work which caused it to retain moisture. lastly, the fan in the bathroom by the sink was very low and not covered for safety. if you are a tall individual, it could be potentially dangerous. the fan could be changed to a caged fan.
