Central Hotel Münster

The location was great. The local restaurants were also good. When we arrived we were told breakfast the next day was at 7-10. We made plans based on that time to include train reservations. When we went down for breakfast we were told it was a German holiday in that area and breakfast wouldn’t start till 8. This meant we weren’t able to eat the breakfast we’d already paid for. The air conditioner In the room worked however because of its placement in the room it only cooled a very small area that didn’t include the sleeping area. The room was laid out strangely and was very small as was the bathroom. We didn’t feel this hotel was worth the price we paid.

The hotel was centrally located and easy to access on foot. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very good. Everything was clean and in order. Because of the Christmas Markets, it was somewhat a challenge to drop off a passenger and our luggage. If you have mobility limitations, it could be a challenge.

Good location for my needs. Nice staff when there was staff. Checking in like at Airbnb is not nice. side door entrance, problem with check in. Over priced breakfast. Should not have chosen to eat breakfast there. The selection was lacking and cheap looking.

Friendly, helpful, competent staff. Great breakfast, right across from the LWL Museum. Would love to stay here again.

Perfect location in the city center, just few steps of the Dom square and the commercial area. For car travellers, a large (paid) public underground parking is located literally across the street. Modern and cozy room interior. No budget option for sure, but given the location and the quality, it is worth its price. The single remark was the bit too noisy fan in the bathroom, which goes on automatically with the light each time you have to enter and works on for a while thereafter. Acknowledging that stronger fans have their benefits, I would certainly split the switch-on to avoid the noise on a later evening. Anyway, just a detail and definitely no issue to spoil the great overall impressions.

The stuff at the front desk was really friendly. Even though they don't offer water kettle in the room, after we asked for it, we got one, and they also offered mugs even though we forgot to ask for it.

Everything was great! Due to the lack of personnel, the reception desk would close early (at different times on different days - 14h, 16:30h, 20h), which makes one a bit nervous in case a situation would arise later in the day /evening) when one would need any kind of assistance. But everything was fine, and a phone number was provided for possible assistance.

The junior suite was big, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was great with lots of cafes, bakeries, restaurants nearby. Also, the Dom, the old town, and St. Lambert’s church within easy walking distance. Nothing.

It was a lovely small hotel in city centre easily accessible by bus (nos 11, 12, 22) from the train station or a pleasant walk of about 15 - 20 mins. My room was quiet even though it faced a busy street and was provided with a refrigerator. I did not take breakfasts in the hotel but enjoyed drinking coffee and reading in the lounge area by the reception. The staff was very pleasant, helpful but unobtrusive. All sorts of stores, bakeries and restaurants nearby. Tea/coffee maker in the room would be appreciated
