The host Adriano is very friendly, easygoing and helpful. The location is convenient, and the price point is very affordable. I suppose such good reviews are dedicated to Adriano, because he is a great host Unfortunately, the property is quite run-down and requires significant maintenance. Several issues need attention: doors that don't close properly, a deteriorating bathroom... The neighbors playing loud music throughout the afternoon also impacts the stay quality. I would recommend this place for a single night's stay. I know for that price you cannot expect other standards, but the current state of the property didn't match my expectations.

Super friendly host. Close to the beach. Well equipped kitchen, pool and chill area, AC in the dorm. Great value for money.

incredible stay at this well located property, the gentleman in charge of the hostel (Adriano) was AMAZING and I can’t thank him enough for all the support and guidance he offered during my stay. Hostel Da Paz is an absolute pleasure!

nice chill location with absolutely WONDERFUL and helpful staff. I had to undergo a surprise surgery and rested up in this hostel and Adriano went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during recovery, even going so far as offering to stay with me in the hospital during surgery. incredible people! nothing
