Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Macon

We stay here several times a year when we visit our oldest son who lives in Savanah. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfy even if it was a bit small ( guess that's due to the name starting with Micro - haha). The Continental breakfast is actually a HOT breakfast with meat, biscuits, eggs, and waffles plus all the normal options. Highly recommend.

Everything was amazing! The breakfast items, it was a great selection, not just carbs, good protein options.

I've stayed before with no issues, which is why I had no problem staying again when I was back in the area. The room however had a few issues this time. I didn't remember before when I stayed that there was NO drawers at all to put anything in, only a few open shelves, which was very disappointing. I could deal with that since this time was just an overnight trip. The biggest issue that I had was the air conditioning. There is a bench installed directly over the air conditioner and the vent blows into the bottom of the bench instead of into the room. The room doesn't cool very well. Running the AC at 60 all night finally cooled it off by the next morning. The last room I had did not have that issue, but that was a few months ago.

We had a very short overnight stay. We had a nice clean room, and comfy bed. Shower was great too!

Room was clean. Quick check-in and easy check-out process. All we needed to rest from being on the road.

Clean, comfortable and the lady working the front desk was very pleasant and personable.

When I first got to the hotel to check in, the lady that checked us in was very rude. We got the room and our floor where the air-conditioner was located was completely soaked and wet. The room had a molded smell to it and we always check around the bed and the mattress was really stained and dirty looking. I went back to the front desk to notify staff of the issue and was told there was nothing they could do, but offer a fan for the room. They stated all rooms were full and we were out of luck. I was really disappointed being this was a Wyndham property.

Shower was great! Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs , waffles etc. Only problem was that the A/C was loud. I would highly recommend this place.

The stay was adequate for a cheap one night stay. I would have given it a higher rating but the staff when I checked in was not kind at all. She had the TV so loud that I couldn’t hear her and became annoyed when I asked her to repeat herself or asked any questions really.

The room was clean, property well kept. Breakfast was not great so we skipped it. Other than that we would stay again for a travel overnight stay.

The staff were very friendly. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The room was ok. It had an awful smell, but we sprayed some of our perfume and it helped. It seemed like the room hadn’t been rented in a while or something. One of the towels had dirt and hair on it. The fridge didn’t get really cold, it kept our stuff cool but not like I thought it would.

It was good but The hotel was undergoing renovations. They had a safe in the room but did not work. Breakfast was a little short. They did not have meat ,ham, beacon or sausage to go with your eggs or waffles. They Had gravy with sausage in side but that did not go with waffles.

Clean rooms and friendly staff

Dirty rooms, pillows were basically small square throw pillows. The people loitering around the parking lot makes you hesitate to leave your car parked overnight out of sight

The convenience of being close to the interstate and restaurants oh and doctor's offices Everything was okay, I didn't have any dislikes

My AC in my room was so bad it was a flood in my room ruin my belongings.Didnt have Iron in room had to carry a Iron and Iron board from front desk to my room on 3rd floor.!!
