The property was dirty, including the room. The housekeeping was poor.

All was well and well priced.

Very disappointing...room/bed linen not clean.

The only thing I liked was the closeness to our venue. From the check-in, my experience was awful. I was told the room with handicapped access that I had reserved was given to someone else and there were no other rooms with handicapped access available. (I am currently recovering from very recent knee replacement surgery, thus the need for a room with handicapped access) After stepping away for a few minutes, the clerk said he had a room with a walk-in shower available and I took it. There was no iron, hair dryer or coffee maker in my room. The wallboard was pulling away in several spots. Later, I discovered the mattress was wet in a few large spots. I reported it to the front desk and was told the hotel was completely booked. I was offered another comforter to cover the area so I could sleep on the bed and I would be moved to another room in the morning after check-out. In the morning I found that the shower door didn't close completely because the strip to seal the door was missing so there was water all over the floor. Once I cleaned it up and tried to dry my hair with the dryer the clerk had found, I became aware that the outlet in the bathroom did not work. At this point I was over my experience with the Baymont in Madison. I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

The whole hotel is in general disrepair and overall cleanliness is lacking. The elevator is very slow and has several jerking motions (not very pleasant). The location is ok, it's close enough to restaurants and the freeway. The front desk staff seem confused about company policies and procedures and contradicted each other. This is a last choice option when nothing else is available in town. I would NOT willingly stay here again.

It is the expected 2 star hotel and the pool is like a tub. There was not desk in my room so not great for business traveller. Location is strange but for me traveling to Verona & Downtown is still not that far which is great for my stay.

First, cleanliness was a major concern. In one of the rooms, we found baby bottles and other leftover items in the drawers, highlighting a lack of proper cleaning. Another room was missing towels, which left us scrambling for essentials. Additionally, one of our party members expressed discomfort, feeling unsafe and unclean in their room. Given these circumstances, we decided against using the pool, fearing it would be equally unsanitary. We booked four rooms for a total of four nights, and the experience was disappointing. The continental breakfast offered was far from satisfactory; it consisted mostly of stale bagels and toast, with guests needing to hunt for utensils and other necessary items to prepare even that basic fare. Safety was another significant issue. Many of the doors did not lock properly, and some were missing doorknobs and handles altogether, which added to our unease during the stay. Overall, the combination of cleanliness, safety concerns, and inadequate amenities made our experience at the Baymont Hotel far from enjoyable. I would not recommend this hotel based on our stay.

Room sheets stained and hole in them. Bed squeaks. Rust in windows of pool. Carpet needed vacuum throughout the hotel. Look up on Chat GPT mot safe neighborhood. Recommended find another hotel.

The room reeked of mole. The smell was intolerable. Front desk guy tried to help but no room was available for him to move us. I saw a cockroach in the bathroom.

The bedding was dirty upon arrival. We spoke to the front desk person to request housekeeping change the bedding. However, when we returned to our room later in the day the beds were made up with the same dirty sheets!! Had to go back down to the front desk to get new sheets to make the beds ourselves because housekeeping left at 4:00 pm. Very disappointing.

Easy check in and convenient to my event. Property was clean and safe.

I would not stay at this hotel again. There were people (not guest) constantly loitering the parking lot and drinking alcohol. My room was rarely cleaned or serviced. The front desk was not very accommodating, and failed to email me a receipt not once, but twice after asking nicely. I do not recommend staying at this location in Madison, WI.

Staff was friendly and made check in quick - due to us traveling 13 hrs !!!

The room was large but very little lighting. It was very dark. The pool was ok but no towels available, bathroom in the pool was under construction. The condition of the outside was in poor repair, especially the outside door to the pool area which faced an apartment complex. It was located in a less than desirable location, separated by only a worn out wooden fence from an apartment complex that may have been Section 8 housing. The elevator was jerky and never stopped correctly on the floor, there was always a slight step to trip on when exiting or entering. There was no seating available outside the front door.

Shower was out of body wash and shampoo upon arrival. The guy at the front desk seemed inconvenienced when we asked for sheets for the pull out sofa. The last remodeling work left gaps in the trim and the shower door didn't like to stay fully closed, resulting in a puddle on the floor after showering. The pool is slightly larger than a hot tub.

The bed was comfortable We got 2 rooms , they were not near eachother or even on the same floor. There was 1 light in one of the rooms. And the other room another light didnt work. The TV didnt work. There was food under our sheets from previous guests. The listing said 2 king beds in one room, they gave us a room with 2 queen beds. They blamed booking.com for the mistake on the listing. Would not give me a discount or any money back for the different. The location was hidden in the middle of a neighborhood and trees. Couldn't see it till you pulled into the parking lot. Swimming pool was super small. None of pictures online showed any of this.
