Good location - we came for a winter holidays and the hotel is close to two convenient ski lifts so you have no need for ski bus. Nice breakfast with a fresh omelette station, and a fresh squeezed orange juice which is one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Nice spa, even though it’s tiny. Staff was very nice and rooms cleaned daily, including an evening towel change posibility. The breakfast restaurant has only one coffee machine for a big amount of people so you will have to wait in line and block the cold bar. The spa is nice, but it’s small to accommodate the whole hotel, so unless the hotel starts with booking system to limit the number of people that can get in at once, you will not be able to enjoy it. The staff is very nice and helpful, but be ready for them to be pretty flummoxed and not very helpful if you come with a request they are not expecting.

Savoia is an old hotel with an excellent if not the best location in Madonna with proximity to central shops, restaurants and two main ski lifts. The view from the windows and balconies is fantastic and one of the best in the area. It has its style and great comfort. Personnel, especially at the restaurants and at the spa, is very friendly and efficient. Room service is very good and quick. They change towels two times per day and fulfill specific requests swiftly. Morena at the spa is a great master and she could start earlier than usual hours on request. Men at the reception were helpful. Food is decent and wine menu is great even by the glass. Good value for money. Internet in the room was week, no wi-fi at the spa. At check out the lady-receptioninst presented me with a bill 2000 Euro higher than she should have. When I pointed it out and finally got a right bill there was neither an excuse nor an explanation. My wife's and my ski boots were stollen from dryers clearly marked with the number of our room one morning (or as they put it after CCTV check, taken by mistake by smb they knew but did not reveal to us - how can one get by mistake two pairs of different size boots at once?). The reception manager arranged that we got substitute boots free after a while, but that is it: no excuse, no explanation, not even a complimentary gesture for the hour of skiing we lost and for the stress of my wife. In general, I believe that some people at the reception are more preoccupied with social activities than with service for their clients. The food at dinners could be less saulty. Old hotel means old rooms, doors, windows..., so enjoy fresh air from houls and noise of kids from next rooms.

The hotel is not new, but clean and tidy enough. If you like complete peace, it won't suit you. Breakfast is rich and tasty. Very helpful staff.

very good location right in the middle of the village. The hotel has a lot of character and remaining style and class from precious centuries. breakfast was rather limited as to choice of food.
