I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Petite Palace - the location of the hotel was fantastic (3-10 minute walk to the main tourist attractions), the room was clean and spacious, facing the inner courtyard. My visit fell on the Mundial and you can imagine how loud it was outside when Spain won (congratulations!!!) but no noise reached my room. I would also like mention how stylish and thoughtfully designed the whole hotel was. Having breakfast with a view every day in the huge breakfast room with lots of light was one of the highlights of my visit. Speaking of breakfast, it had a good variety of fruit, bread, meats and cereal. The receptionists were kind and welcoming.

The location was great! Close to the gran via. Breakfast was great! Room was ok, I expected some view, and also there are some repairs outside

Petite Palace Alcalá was in an absolutely outstanding location in Madrid. Everything was within easy walking distance, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel. Room was too small.

The location, the views, the room and the balcony. A bit expensive.

The hotel is at the touristic heart of Madrid, which is great for a first-time visit. The room is very spacious, and breakfast is great. It's just what you expect for the price. The bathroom (which is otherwise very comfortable) didn't seem to have proper ventilation.

Everything about this place exceeded expectations. All staff were warm and friendly; accommodating our needs and happy to share local advice and insight. Someone is at the front desk 24/7. There’s fresh water, coffee and pasties in the first floor lounge area which was a nice touch. We upgraded to a superior room and it did not disappoint. Fresh and clean with a great view of the local buildings. The shower was another level. 4 spray settings, perfect for refreshing from the warm Madrid weather. The aircon was a welcome inclusion and worked well. The breakfast is a must! The room is spectacular, beautifully presented and the staff were inviting. There are plenty of options: fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, meats, pastries & cooked. Felt more alfresco. Outstanding when you consider the hustle and bustle below. I would 100% recommend and would stay again! Thanks to all the team. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. If I was to give anything constructive it would be that only on the last day did I notice the QR code for property information in the lift, would be good to have one in the room or given on arrival.

The staff was great, especially at the brekfast. The balcony was extremely dirty. The room was very very small and other than the breakfast floor and the coffee water machine, there are no other facilities. The door of the bathroom is not sealed and gives basically 0 privacy. No kit provided in the room, everything needs to be asked at the reception.
