Gorgeous place with little chalets and amazing grounds. Breakfast was lovely. My boys loved playing with the board games provided and playing in the hammocks. On New Years Eve staff gave us lanterns to set off into the sky which was a really lovely touch. Nice base for exploring local area and not far from Chaing Mai. The owners were so helpful organising a car and massages for us on site. The pool was freezing, but I guess it was winter!

The variety of botanical plants was amazing and made the experience very special Well they have beautifully created a tropical Rain Forest which is heaven for Mosquitoes too as one should expect. Bring lots of repellent as the excellent restaurant is al fresco

Location was perfect to visit all the attractions around Due to the fact that it was winter, it was very damp and had a hard time getting things dry. As an example, the sheets and towels always felt damp.

Paul and Arm were lovely hosts helping with everything from restaurant recommendations to rentals, sites and cultural information. The room and facilities were all incredible. Thanks again. Try quiet, out of the way accommodation. Very few sunbeds, not within walking distance of any bars or restaurants. Cottages were clean and comfortable, food was good.

Paul and his partner were super nice. The photos of the property do not do justice. The place is a lot nicer and very serene -- perhaps a video of the property would better relate the feel of the place than still shots pictures. My friends and I will definitely stay at Monoceros Resort again. We booked 4 rooms but due to a change in our schedule, the place was booked so we could only secure 3 rooms instead of 4. Wish they have more units available. Oh well, the resort was very accommodating and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Stunning beautiful grounds with lush vegetation and orchids growing everywhere with cosy little private chalets set apart from each other so no noisy neighbours, well equipped, comfortable and quiet and a beautiful pool, excellent food (best hang ley I've had since I've been in the north) and a great breakfast!

Friendliness & politeness of the people, the foods, the serene atmosphere — felt more relaxed than I anticipated. The rooms & hot water shower was super nice after the lukewarm water temp we had from Doi Mae Salong & Doi Chang in Chiang Rai. Mosquitos. Lol.

Spacious individual tastefully designed chalets with lots of natural light and a porch / veranda to relax. Chalets spaced out with natural forest screening from neighbouring chalets to add to the good distance between. Beautiful gardens with shade and tropical forest epiphytes and orchids. Nice size swimming pool for when temps allow. Great hosts, Paul & Arm, fantastic staff and great food. Nothing, it was fantastic.

All the food was very good. There are so many options available on the menu. Mattress could be a little better.

A hidden gem ! Stunning location . The bungalows were so pretty and equipped with everything we needed. The feeling was calm and tranquil. The perfect spot to relax and unwind and explore the north. Definitely hire a car or bike (the hotel can do this) to get around. You then have easy access to a number of wonderful attractions . We loved the food which was amazing value for money . Paul was so helpful and welcoming and the rest of the staff were delightful. We will definitely be back and would thoroughly recommend. Loved it all!

Beautiful lush gardens. So peaceful and able to listen to the birds in the trees. Very helpful managers and staff. It was colder at night than I had expected and it would have been nice to have a heater in the room in January

The ambience and layout is amazing very nice decor.The staff and owners were lovely and the restaurant served delicous inexpensive food.Big extremely clean swimming pool.The owners can organise massages day trips etc.All the rooms have tv with netflix etc. Unfortunately the weather was unseasonably cold whilst we were there especially in the evening as the cottages are set out in such a way that they dont get any sunlight which keeps them cool in the summer. Would highly recommend a stay there for a few days fantastic value for money ! Nothing was all great

Nice swimming pool, great green scenery, helpful staff, great value for money. Very recommended as there are many activities around. Its about 35 min from the changmai city so if you have a car or a scooter you are more than fine. Nothing but I would recommend to heat the pool a bit.

Locatio is quiet, peaceful, pleasant but still feasible to get to Chiang Mai.
