The staff at the Fairmont Makati are all very friendly and accommodating. The facilities themselves are also very well maintained and abundant, especially the gym! (easily one of the largest hotel gyms I've been to) This issue (and it's really more of a nitpick) is not unique to the Fairmont, but the pillows could use a bit more structure. Also, the dining area for breakfast can fill up, so plan accordingly unless you want to wait a bit.

* Friendly and accommodating staff - The staff were consistently friendly and polite, and the night manager handled concerns very well. * Clean and well-maintained environment - The lobby has a nice open-concept design that feels fresh and upscale. * Comfortable bed - The bed was very comfortable, which made the stay pleasant overall * Late checkout accommodation (very helpful) * Better staff training on room features - they were not very informative, especially when it came to explaining room features like lighting and controls. * Clear communication (especially dining inclusions) -A waitress mentioned alcohol was included, but later clarified only sangria was included—not wine. This felt misleading and disappointing * Improve lighting system usability - Lighting system was confusing, with no clear way to control individual lights * Fix maintenance issues before guest check-in - bathtub drain did not work, charging pad not working and other charging outlets are not so visible * Better value for price - while it meets expectations in some areas, it doesn’t fully match the price point compared to other luxury hotels. especially, Initially assigned corner room had a strong lingering odor in the hallway

I appreciate the staff notably . One particular staff I want to mention is Justin, from concierge, who provided excellent service and hospitality. Approachable and friendly. For example, as I was waiting for my ride, Grab, he was there to help, especially that my ride was waiting for me at the wrong entrance and Justin handled the situation. None.

Only its location Everything was bad since check in the facility is very dirty. The room is dirty, and I found a rotten potato under the bed looks like being there for a month. The restaurants for breakfast and dinner is really bad , dining in room was horrible and the food was awful I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms design is old and furniture doesnt match, specially curtains were repaired instead of being changed with new.
