. I expected that the walls were soundproof. The front desk called when my wife received a long distance call and reported that a neighbour was complaining about a loud voice.

It is no more the Guijo like in the past. Rooms will not be cleaned every day. No more breakfast buffet. No room service. In the past it has always been.

I did not eat breakfast in guijo. Location is perfect an convenient for my purpose. There should be a little more improvement for noise from neighboring rooms...

The environment is cool. The staff are kind, always ready to help. Bed linens not changed for 2days, didn't complain to staff though.

At the same time, I like the hotel where I stayed a couple of times in the past, pre-Covid pandemic, because of the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the room and even the lobby. Before, I loved the breakfast and the foods served in the hotel dining area. WHICH unfortunately are no longer offered in Guijo Suites. Tiny black ants that entered the bathroom sink as well as my handbag!

The lobby all the way to the room feels so creepy because no bright ceiling lights or bulbs. Some busted light inside the shower room. Broken door lock, i kept calling them attention of the staff to unlock the sensor knob.

Nothing to change. My stay was perfect. Also, the receptionist was awesome in attitude and character. There was prompt service. I look forward to come lodge in when next i am in the country.

The quick response of the staff to customers needs. There is no bedside refrigerator in the room

the place looks clean and the front desk is nice. Very arranging. But the room doesn't have windows, it's an illusion with the curtains, so if you are claustrophobic, avoid it. The district is not the best when you just arrive in Philippines, it doesn't feel safe.
