After traveling across the islands for two weeks, this hotel was paradise. Modern technology, clean bathrooms with amazing waterfall showers and hot water, comfortable beds, plenty of chargers, buffet dinner, and buffet breakfast. It had every amenity that I’m used to in US hotels. Nothing. Everything was fabulous

The Restaurant is likely the best hotel restaurant in the City. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. The Seda Hotels restaurant for comparison is terrible and the food there inedible despite costing even more than the Marriott. Despite being arguably the best hotel in Metro Cebu, the property is marred by strange design choices and rapid wear. Common areas lack basic necessities like trash cans, and the gym is particularly disappointing—the flooring is peeling and the rusted weight racks are damaging the room. The lobby has a vast, empty common area that feels unfinished, while the outdoor seating is made of cheap, degrading materials with no protection from the sun. The saving grace is the restaurant, the highlight of the stay with excellent quality food and terrific service.

Great place That I didn’t stay there my whole trip lol. Unfortunately I stayed at a crappy clockwork orange resort down the road before coming here. I ended up walking out of my reservation with the other place to come here.

Friendly Front desk and restaurant staff. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The cleaning of the room was very poor, not worth the name "By Marriott". The glasses in the bathroom were not cleaned daily, they didnt refill the complimentary water, not even after I made a reminder to the front desk. We still found hair everywhere after cleaning. Often they removed a used towel but didn't give us a new one. The breakfast is too simple for an international hotel, not much of Western dishes and most food is served cold. The A La Carte menu for dinner is very short. Two days in a row I ordered fried chicken and the preparation was totally different. Most wines on their menu are out of stock and if they have, it is just one bottle, the next day no more. Same with some dishes on the menu...out of stock. They said Room service is only available if they have enough staff, otherwise not. Huh??

So gorgeous and luxurious for a great price! I raked up sooo much room service it felt like paradise! Nothing I liked everything!

The breakfast buffet was ok. Pandesal was dry and hard. The pineapples were sour and hard.

Staff went above and beyond in ensuring we have a wonderful stay. Very friendly service upon arrival and even set up beautiful towel art on the bed and a little cake for our anniversary. Room was very modern and clean, abit small but expected in Cebu. Location was a little out of the way, there was not much within walking distance but very easy to order a Grab at the front. Breakfast was good with a range of filipino and western dishes. The aircon had a strange smell each time it was turned on, not sure why. Gym is very small with a not very wide range of equipment.

Place is clean, beds are comfortable, shower pressure was wonderful, pool was a pleasant surprise and breakfast buffet was good. My only complaint is that the internet was slow and TV wasn’t working (not playing anything) mid day because of connectivity.

Good location. Modern hotel and very friendly staff. Signing the breakfast check, when it was included in the rate. I noticed many other guests were also confused about it during their breakfast.

The staff were incredibly friendly, particularly when we made additional requests. We were tired when we reached the hotel and so it was incredibly convenient that they have a lovely restaurant on site. The restaurant caters for the international traveller, so it doesn't serve authentic Filipino food - if that's what you're looking for.
