Loved the pool which nice and cool just the perfect temperature to cool down after a long day of hiking. The restaurant was very helpful and accommodating to our tour schedule and even prepared something for us to have in the mornings since we would be missing breakfast. Jonathan at the front desk went out of his way to ensure we got hooked up with the best tours - which by the way were fabulous. Can’t say anything bad about this place - just wonderful all the way around. Nothing - well except for the red ants that were coming in through the wall socket - but hey this is the jungle and it’s to be expected.

Great location. Just a few walking minutes from the Beach and the National Park.

Amazing rooms, big spaces and very comfortable. Perfect location, just 100 mts to the park and the sea. Beautiful swimming pool and it’s area to relax. Breakfast wasn’t great.
-
It felt a bit overpriced for what it is. There was ongoing construction in the pool area, and you could see neighboring properties with junk.

Location was excellent. Only a two minute walk to the park alternatively to the beach. Closeness to the park was also its principal concern. Mornings rush of cars and tour groups was very noisy and busy.

The location was perfect for our family, just moments from the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park and only a few minutes’ walk to the beach. As a family who loves the beach, this suited us perfectly. The pool area was nice, and honestly, the photos online do not do it justice. The rooms were spacious, modern and cleaned to a very high standard every day. Overall, we felt it offered great value for money, especially in what is quite an expensive area. Breakfast was fairly basic, but for us it had everything we needed to start the day. There is also a small supermarket nearby and a few restaurants within a minute or two’s walk, which was very convenient. A note for European travellers (more about the area than the hotel itself): prices are comparable to Northern Europe, and shops can be even more expensive. Restaurants also close early—often by 7pm. We found 6.30pm was the latest reliable time to sit for dinner, which felt quite early for us, especially in the heat. Just something to be aware of when planning your evenings.

The property is wonderfully located very close to Manuel, Antonio Park and the beach We were on the lower floor and based on the way the hotel floors are built, we could hear every movement from the people above us. You will want to make sure you have an upper floor.

Location

By far the worst place we stayed in during our 2 weeks in CR Location - very close to national park and to the beach Parking Not clean, dirty sheets. everything old and outdated, very baisc room, no bedside tables, dirty porch Extremely poor breakfast served from dirty dishes. No complimentary water in the room. They charged us 25 USD more. When I complained, they said they use a different exchange rate (not the daily rate, simply a rate that they like and it is A LOT higher than the daily rate). So for 3 nights we ended up paying USD 25 more than stated on the booking. This is unaccaptable and I have reported it to booking.com.

Location was perfect. Walking distance from restaurants, souvenir shops, convenience stores and Espadilla beach, but most importantly to Manuel Antonio National Park. Food was great. The fried shrimp and ceviche we ate at the restaurant was delicious. The view from the rooms was very nice and I also liked the pool a lot. I liked the size and the way it was designed as well as the lighting during the night time. The cleanliness could've been better. When we first arrived, there was some dust in the sheets and the floor of the room but even more so on the balcony. I had to clean it up myself. Also some of the towels had small stains on them though they were technically clean. Now for the biggest issue of all, involving the staff. While we went to the park, housekeeping came in and they left the bathroom door locked. It was not locked when we left the room. I went to tell the guy from the main desk and he said for me come back to the room that he would come up eventually. I told him to please hurry because I had to use the bathroom and I guess he didn't like that because when he arrived he had an attitude that was so unprofessional. He was laughing like this was nothing and I was making a big deal of it (dude I had to poop). He blamed us for the door getting locked and it was clear he wanted to get out ASAP. The lock on the door clearly didn't work well because he came ready with a knife to unlock it, like this happens a lot. Finally, when I went to the restaurant to have lunch I had to get up and look for the servers every time I wanted something (no there weren't a lot of people at the restaurant), from ordering to getting the bill. They also told me they would not charge me extra (like they usually do) because I asked for my shrimp to be fried instead of roasted but they did charge me extra.

Lost power at night, no chair in the room, breakfast was fair.
