Cambria Hotel Minneapolis Maple Grove

Very nice rooms. Waterslide was shut down by the state. I had two very disappointed kids. We only booked the hotel due to the pool area. Hesitant if we will stay again. I really wish we would have been informed the pool area was not working.

Our room wasn’t cleaned or towels replenished after day 1. Probably some notice that we missed. The shower was excellent. Easily the best shower experience we’ve had for sometime. The bed linens were clean but disappointing. No top coverlet, just sheets and a very light blanket. The breakfast was ok with enough seating. Would have appreciated Decaf coffee at breakfast.

The room and property were clean. I did not get the room type I reserved. They gave me a double queen suite instead of a king suite. Plus, the room they gave me was an accessible room, so the beds were very low to the ground. The desk had a broken leg and was basically unusable. To me, this was not a big issue, but it might have been to a business traveler. When I reported that I got the wrong room type and that the desk was broken, I was told that I received the very last room available. If I didn’t want the room, they would cancel my reservation and I could get a refund for a non-refundable room. Then, four people checked in after me. So, how did I get the last room? Anyway, the staff was friendly, but unhelpful. The property was clean and looked to be fairly updated. I would probably give them another try.

The site needs a lot of maintenance to improve the elevators, pool and hot tub as they were below water line, and our room wasn’t cleaned well.

After checking out we realized that we left a pair of new shoes in our room. We called the front desk and informed them, their reply was they would check and call us back. They never did call us back; we tried calling several times with the same answer. The shoes are there, so housekeeping has them.

Our first night we found bugs in the mattress. Went to the front desk with pictures and was brushed off. Ended up getting another room and it wasn't great. Sheets had stains. The front desk was very defensive. Ended up checking out early.

The pool area was small and we didn't have the time to use it however the floor to ceiling windows made the space more appealing and would have been awesome to hang out at in the evening! The room we had was more than I could have even wished for. For the price we paid for the room I was more than satisfied and wish we could have stayed another night. Black out curtains. King bed pull out couch with a wall in between the two. The bathroom too not h. Microwave, Keurig, and small fridge. Perfect for us. I would definitely recommend and stay again if I was in the area.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Couch had visible stains.

Who gives a king suite with two people; three pillows, 3 towels, one hand towel and one wash cloth. When I asked at the front desk, I was told I could come get it. One remote for two TV and be told repeatedly, they only give one remote per room. The night staff made it seem like she was doing us a favor to come get a second remote from the front desk Over all, the quality of this hotel has changed. I stayed here a couple of years ago and had a great time. I suggested this hotel for our stay. Another guest said the same thing. Breakfast was not that awesome. I could have run to the gas station and gotten better food.

The breakfast was OK, nothing special. The milk smelled sour. Our room had a bad odor in it.

There was only 1 operating elevator with a packed hotel! The landscaping around the building was in horrible shape. with tons of weeds all around the building...looked like a vacant property that was not being taken care of. On Saturday, the front desk worker was more interested in scrolling on her phone than attending to the guests...busy morning, water container empty, garbage cans over-flowing by the dining area. The cleaning service was horrible. Our stay was for 3 nights; I requested fresh towels and for our 1 small garbage can to be emptied. I received the fresh towels, but our garbage was never emptied until we tracked down one of the cleaners and asked for a garbage bag, which stayed in our room full of garbage for the rest of our stay! Due to the condition of the landscaping and the horrible service, I will not stay at this hotel in the future.

Our stay was terrible, my fiancés powder band got stolen and the hotel did nothing about it. And the room did not get clean the whole time we were there! We had to begged them to clean the room and they did it once! The pillows were so uncomfortable and small, the comforter was a mess! And some of the staffs were rude!

Overall the room and hotel were in good shape. The tub floor seemed quite dirty and stained, the parking lot was rough, and the grounds could use a landscape refresh.

Huge suite with king bed, pullout king couch, 2 tvs, outstanding internet, jet tub. Perfect!

Hotel and room were very nice and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Our room location was close to the interstate Hwy so we heard a lot of vehicle noise, Loud. The included breakfast was not as nice as I had expected, not up to par as compared to other hotels I have stayed at.

Coffee and creamer from downstairs good. Location...ok Breakfast...not enough choices. Eggs and sausage were not hot. Greek yogurt was runny. Tvs weren't working for 3hrs. We were told the TVs were being worked on (in the whole building) and would be up back up soon. Tub mat was filthy. Didn't use shower. Only 1 face cloth. Was told that was standard and we needed to call for more if needed. Elevators smelled like wet dog. No mattress protector. Thin fitted sheet that didn't cover the mattress. Lumpy mattress. Filthy couch. Refrigerator had thick ice at the back. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Superb

Easy to access. Located in greenery. Close to aldes (should advertise that. I stumbled on to it). Great scrambled eggs! Noise from highway if trying to sit outside on south.

Extremely dirty in our hotel room. Pillow cases stained, washroom was very dirty, mold on shower curtain. Spoke with reception to remedy it 3 times . No change across a 6 night stay. Bed was made once in that time and pillows and sheets weren’t clean after change. Overall would not stay here. Recommend bringing cleaning materials if you end up staying here
