The view was magnificent and the grounds were immaculate. Marirosa has the perfect touch with the gardens. It was a dream. The room was just what we needed and fully equipped. They thought of everything you might want. A delicious homemade breakfast was served each morning. Marirosa was always available with great recommendations. I highly recommend!!

Lovely quiet atmosphere with charming hosts welcoming us.

Central location between the old town and the coast. Private parking. Kind and helpful hosts. Excellent communication with clear instructions on how to find the place. Flexible check in time that was very much appreciated by us in bad weather. High standard of cleanliness. Generous breakfast provisions. A covered outdoor terrace where we could sit and enjoy the beautiful sea view, even in the rain. We were lucky to be the only guests (on a weekday in low season), so had the terrace to ourselves. We like darkness to sleep and the curtains didn't block out the external light coming through the slatted shutters (very minor issue). The vibration and very muffled rumbling of freight trains in the tunnel that runs under the hill on which the property is built was also a strange sensation, but not disturbing in any way.

Its location and spectacular view. Home made breakfast bakery goods. Nothing

Every morning we were treated to croissants and home made treats. The owners were on hand for any issues that arose but we did not have any issues at all. They even drove us to the train station when we left. I cannot praise this B&B enough with all the amenities and the attentiveness of the owners. I have included a view from our room which was gorgeous. Not a thing, truly, it was perfect.

Location is off the beaten path but worth the drive. Beautiful setting. The hosts were incredibly kind. We had some trouble finding the place as we arrived after dark. The husband came to meet us at the gas station nearby. We also had not had dinner yet and they offered to drive us to and from the restaurant so we wouldn’t have to struggle to find our way which went above and beyond our expectations! In the morning, we were able to enjoy the beautiful view and had a very nice breakfast. If someone is looking for an authentic Italian experience with wonderful hosts, we highly recommend this place. Everything was great.

She and her husband were lovely and our place was really clean and lovely views of the sea and high mountains. She was helpful in making reservations last night. SHe spoke no English but that was OK as she had a translation app which she used very well. Easy communication. I do wish it had been a little closer to town, but not a big deal as it was so charming. Hard to find. it is 90 feet before the gas station if you are going UP the hill.

The host and hostess were extremely responsive, welcoming, and helpful. They even picked me up and delivered me to the train. Rooms have terraces with spectacular views of the mountains and sunset over the sea. It's very quiet. This wasn't a good choice for someone without a car. There are no walkways in Maratha, which is very spread out with the 'historical center' perched up on the mountain, and the port below. The narrow roads with numerous hairpin turns have no shoulder, and there is usually a wall of mountain on one side. Also, no viable public transportation, either. But a dream spot if you do have a car!

we liked everything. in this case we are speaking about hosts who take their ownership seriously. their desire is for the traveler to have a superior experience. they were gracious, picked us up at the train station, which we did not request, and returned us there the next day. the view from the terrace was stupendous. every need was met. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property! Beautiful view! Probably the most charming of 8 places we stayed while on our trip. Snacks and breakfast were amazing for a B&B. Parking at the property in a small lot. Highly recommend! Super host!

The room is spacious and the hosts have thought of many little details making the stay even better, and they are very, very helpful. It is immaculately clean. A really great breakfast: Freshly baked croissants, two sorts of cake, a fridge full of yoghurts, juice, milk; an espresso-machine and ample supply of capsules - etc. etc.. The view from the veranda outside the room is stunning. Maratea is a wonderfull little town with two excellent restaurants at the harbour and a beautifull old city perched on the cliffs above. Calm, pretty, and inviting. I will definately return!

Very clean, neat and functional room with terrace overlooking the sea. Pleasant cheerful owner who met us to guide us to the house and parking. Excellent WiFi. Access (not easy) to interesting historical area and beach facilities. Property description uses the term 'ground floor'. True, it has no stairs internally and the single room leads to the steep hillside terrace which has the entry to the room. The path from the small on-site parking to the terrace is down 41 stone steps.

The hosts were very helpful and kind meeting us at the garage to guide us to the property. The view to the sea from the terrace is amazing! The room and bathroom were spotless and the breakfast outstanding with fresh croissants and delicious cake as well as jam etc. Would definitely recommend. Hope to return one day

Beautiful views. Perfectly clean. Very comfortable accommodation. Lots of treats in the fridge. Incredibly kind hosts. Nothing.

The location is perfect, there is a trail to the lower city and on the same trail you can walk all the way to the top of the hill to visit the Christ statue. Just look for the red/ white marks on the walls and you will not get lost. There were zero problems. We were treated like family and the owners are more than kind to help in any way they can.

Hosts really friendly and helpful Terrific views from sunny terrace Comfortable, well designed accommodation. Waterproof matress cover. Not ideal if you don't have a car.
