The host was so kind and very accommodating. Had lots of gluten free options for breakfast, made soy milk cappucino and had eggs (which I found surprisingly hard to find in Italy). The view from the outside is amazing. The room is small but has everything you could possibly need.

The location was perfect with just a short walk to stunning beaches, train station and the port. My room was always clean and the AC was so helpful for humid nights. Breakfast had everything one can ask for in a tasty, hearty meal. The egg omelette was delicious and all the fruits were very fresh. There was even yogurt and other treats to save for later in the day. Everyone at the b&b was incredibly kind and made sure my stay was always perfect. I could not ask for anything more. A true gem in Basilicata. Nothing

Everything was excellent! We would like to come back! Thank you Valentina!

Breakfast was excellent, location too. parking area was large and well-lit. Lots of steps, but the view was worth it.

This B&B was one of the highlights of our six-week trip. The host was warm and welcoming, the room was beautifully furnished and decorated, the view overlooking the port was fantastic, and there is a lovely, shaded terrace to enjoy. The gardens surrounding the houses are lovely, too. And the breakfast was easily the best we encountered anywhere we stayed, with the most wonderful fresh pastries, fruit, eggs, coffee of our choice, juices and more delivered to our room each morning. If I could give this place a higher rating than 10, I would!

Exceptionally clean and spacious room with lovely views over the harbour. The host has thought of everything one would need in a stay away from home. Breakfast was wonderful - probably one of the best we have had in 2 months of travelling. It is also served with a spectacular view overlooking the harbour. Nothing

The breakfast was AMAZING!!! That meal alone quickly became a highlight of our month long Italy trip! The property was in a slightly inconvenient location, a decent walk to get to anything and the only restaurants nearby were extremely expensive.

Ewerything was wery nice.

Breakfasts were fantastic, the views terrific and it was such a relaxing place. Friendly and welcoming host and staff. Snacks and drinks provided were unexpected but appreciated. We were there at Easter so the Easter touches were also appreciated. Nothing. Yes, there are steps but you're aware of them in advance.

10/10 for breakfast and location perfect with great views Nothing

The property has beautiful gardens and lovely dogs (I’m a dog person). The breakfast area is so pretty with a knock out view of Maratea port. The hosts are so friendly and their attention to detail is excellent. My room was so comfortable and clean and felt like I was part of the household yet still had complete privacy. The mini fridge was stocked thoughtfully with tea and coffee facilities. The property is located a little out of town but that’s not a big deal if you have a car.

Everything was perfect. Valentina is an exceptional hostess. Beautiful house, within walking distance to Port and to town. The breakfast everyday was lovely. Valentina gave us a present as we were leaving. This was very sweet.

This was one of the most beautiful, inviting places we stayed on our entire Italy trip! We stayed in the largest upstairs room with double windows overlooking the home's lush garden and boat harbor below. Besides the stunning view, our room was very large, most welcoming and had multiple comfy places to sit...a rarity in all other rooms we stayed in. Valentina, our host...was so gracious and friendly, and we especially enjoyed hearing some of the history of this old family property as she and her kind staff served us our ample and delicious breakfast.

Large shaded terrace in beautiful and well kept gardens overlooking the port. Wonderful breakfast and kind host. Good off road parking on the property. Beware: There are nearly steep 100 steps to climb to your room. Not a problem for us and have read the reviews.

Lovely location that overlooked the harbour. Excellent breakfast with so many choices, muesli's, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, fresh pastries, juices etc etc. Was wonderful enjoying this on the open terrace while taking in the beautiful views. Great host. Large bedroom with spacious living area. Would highly recommend. There were quite a few steps up from the carpark but through nice pathways and gardens. we just took up a small overnight bag which was fine. Not a big deal!

The spacious room with magnificent view The terrace and comfortable furniture Generously stocked drinks in room Lovely staff Incredible breakfast spread Short drive to fabulous beaches and hikes Lots of stairs from car park to the room (tough if have mobility issues or struggle to carry suitcase long distances)

Brilliant position high above the port of Maratea with a fabulously friendly hostess, Valentina. The breakfast was out of this world. Lots of fresh fruit and juices, plus a lovely frittata each morning. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and there were mosquito nets in front of the windows. An absolute plus!

After a long tortourous drive to Maratea, my initial reaction was shock. The isolation of the place, the stairs! Once we overcame this, we started appreciating our rugged surroundings. Valentina was very welcoming. Once we reached our room and took it all in, we calmed down. The view from our bedroom window over Maratea harbour was lovely. The fridge was jampacked with water and different flavours of fruit juices and there was also a basket full of snacks, all compliments of the house. Breakfast on the lovely terrace was simply a feast. A generous spread of savoury and sweet options, homemade jams and biscuits, different selection of yoguarts. We had dinner in the port both nights we spent in Maratea. Not for the fainthearted as it is 120 steps down from the parking area of Tre Casette to the port. The drive up to Christ the Redeemer statue is definitely worth it. Worth mentioning is the private parking space at Le Tre Casette and l the many squirrels and pretty bright green lizards in the garden The 90 steps to climb up to our bedroom from the carpark. But that cannot be helped. Its the way nature made this area.

We loved the location in walking distance to the little port of Maratea. Our room was a combination of bedroom and sitting room like a home away from home. The breakfast was outstanding, the owners very friendly and we could park on site. Wifi was excellent as well. Nothing.
