The reception guy and cleaning lady staff were very loud, discuting together really loudly from 7 to 9am without any consideration for peace of the guests, they managed to destroy the lovely mood of the riad

My stay at Riad la Cigale was amazing. The Riad itself is beautiful, clean, and centrally located. It’s also very quiet and peaceful with an amazing rooftop perfect for sunrises and sunsets. The service given by the staff was the most memorable part of my experience. At every turn, they went above and beyond to elevate my experience. Aymane, the night manager, worked diligently to coordinate transport for me, arrange an amazing last minute cooking class at the Riad for me, and otherwise give me great recommendations for Marrakech.

The location was phenomenal and truly one of the best in Marrakech. Everything was within a 5–10 minute walk, including popular rooftop bars, restaurants, attractions, and affordable street food. It was also tucked away from the more aggressive and scam-heavy parts of the souks while still being close to everything. Taxis were easy to access. Ayeman and the other hostess were wonderful and made me feel like family from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality was exceptional. Breakfast was served in either the lobby or rooftop, mint tea and coffee were available in the morning, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the air conditioning was AMAZING. The hosts were always available by message and happy to help with water, tea, transportation, recommendations, or anything else I needed. Nothing. My stay exceeded expectations
-
Location is excellent Poor value for the size of the rooms. Staff were friendly but not helpful. Riad did not match the high ratings for us.
-
The staff at the riad were extremely kind as well. Using a map of Marrakech, they recommended restaurants and places to visit, and even advised us on where to withdraw cash. This was especially helpful since many ATMs in the city were either crowded or out of service.

Such an amazing location and very pretty property. The staff was extremely helpful even at very odd hours of the day and we always felt comfortable. Beds were surprisingly extremely comfortable! Nothing

We had a lovely experience in La Cigale. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hammam followed by a delicious dinner afterwards. Yassmine was always on call to answer any questions. She also organised our two night trip to the Atlas mountains and the desert. Jenny looked after us with dedication in the riad and accompanied us to the bus when we were leaving for the mountains. Overall, we were delighted with our stay in La Cigale. Nothing

Really everything was just perfect!
-
My stay in Marrakech was perfect . That was entirely due to how friendly the staff were at the Riad . Yassmine and Said were so helpful , and so thoughtful . Yassmine assisted me with finding my way to the raid , she suggested important sights to see in Marrakech and she taught me a lot of cultural aspects around the city . Said was so considerate and always made great breakfast for me during my stay . I appreciate the both of them and I will remember them as being essential to my stay in Morocco

We were travelling as couple and with a friend and Riad la cigale welcomed us with open arms. It is such a comfortable, unique, and pretty riad. We stayed at two riads while in Marrakesh and while the other one was good La Cigale blew the other riad out of the water. The staff, the location, the breakfast, the rooms, the beds made our experience amazing and comfortable. Specifically Zac went the extra mile with everything: activities, transportation, waking up early to pick us up and make breakfast for us and overall advice on Marrakesh, it wouldn’t have been the same without him. Wifi is inconsistent

Riad La Cigale is a beautiful and charming place to stay. The riad itself is well maintained, very quiet, and has a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we slept very well throughout our stay. Breakfast was great, with good quality and a nice selection, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it’s quite far from transportation, which is already expected if you choose to stay inside the souk. That said, the location was easy to find using GPS, and once you arrive, the peaceful environment makes it worth it. Overall, a lovely riad for travelers looking for a quiet and authentic stay in the medina. Distance to access transport.

Great central location. Very gracious host. Quiet. Excellent breakfasts Everything as great

Strongly recommend the hammam there!
-
It was absolutely beautiful and clean. Staff went above and beyond - I checked in late at night and they welcomed me with tea and cookies. Breakfast was delicious and on my last day I had to leave early for a tour and they made me a full breakfast at 6:30 am. The location of the riad is great as well, a few minutes to the main square. Nothing I did not like
-
Nice little hotel, in Maroco style in the Medina. Cars cannot go into Medina, 15 minutes walk to the hotel. If you are not healthy be careful, the steps within the buildings are large and difficult, no elevator. The walking is Medina is dangerous due to the rushing motocycles, very narrow streets and many people. On the other hand Medina is cheap and interesting. Recommended to contact your hotel and agree on transfer to and from the airport or Bus.

Very nice people, clean place, great breakfast

The property wasn't easy to find and the immediate area seemed a bit sketchy. I didn't feel comfortable coming and going by myself.

Beautiful little Riad with a great location. A short walk from the main square but in a very quiet area. Very friendly and accommodating staff, I had some great chats with the manager at the front desk. They even prepared a to-go breakfast for me since I had to leave early for my desert tour. Wish I could have stayed longer! Nothing

The staff is amazing, the bed super comfortable, and all facilities were clean. The terrace is gorgeous! A little peaceful oasis. It’s a bit tricky to find the entrance the first time - if a staff offers assistance, take it! No issues after that first time. Just as little noisy when other guests come home at night - only noticed because I go To bed super early!

Staff were so nice and attentive to my needs.
