It was in a convenient location, close to the station and the city center. The receptionist was kind and helpful. There were many rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom, always a plus. There was hot water, and the water pressure was good in both the sink and shower. The room had a high, ornate ceiling, which held a lot of potential for grandeur. The towels and bedsheets smelled strongly of sweet laundry detergent instead of feeling really clean and neutral. I was extremely tired so I slept well even though I was initially grossed out by the bed.

The staff was amazing and accomodating

It is right by the station. Nothing

The location of the hotel. Close to the train station/bus station. Close to the city center and the port. There are many shops and cafes nearby where you can have a snack. Even though the windows overlooked the road, I heard no unnecessary noise. I lived on the third floor. The hotel does not have an elevator. There is no worker at the reception; he is constantly walking somewhere. The hotel has a terrible stench of sewage mixed with chemicals. Probably, rats were poisoned. There was less of this stench in the room, but it was present.

Exceptional

The strong and repulsive smell in the entrance and the whole hallway; (possible owner') dog's pee on the stairs.

Terrible smell. Seams that desk manager keeps a big dog in his part of hotel but dont wanna go with a dog for a walkie at all, and poor animal can only make a pee on the floor. Please avoid this place if you have sensitive nose.

I liked it, simple but cosy

The location was good and the room was very nicely decorated. I could hear shouting or arguing of staff in the reception.

Central location, friendly welcoming members of staff. Basic accommodation but according to the descriptions. Bathroom quite small and outdated

Hotel was quite central, 10 min walk front eh train/bus station. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the room was just what I needed. Even had a fridge, loved it N/A

The location of this hotel is quite good, in the vicinity of the main train station. Don't expect any other conveniences though. Not to have to wear your outdoor shoes, take slippers with you to move around in the room because the floors are really cold and not clean. We were staying in the room with a private bathroom and had quite a bit of space to unpack our bags (cupboard, table, clothes hangers, mini fridge). There is no hair-dryer and no shampoo/shower gel in the room and just one (large) towel per person. The shower is good, if you figure out that c stands for cold and f for hot and not the other way around ;) Whatever you do, don't try to get the fan working because it seems like you might become a dust monster. Luckily enough, there doesn't seem to be a switch for it anyway. The people at the reception seemed helpful, friendly and unvomplicated although we barely had contact as the whole check-in was just receiving the key and a paper with the codes (which had been sent online beforehand). Cleanliness The room door could have probably been opened with a kick although locked. The windows and doors of the house are very airy so you can hear everything and there is a lot of noise coming from outside.

Only stayed one night, and arrived late, so it was fine for a bed for the night, cheap for Marseille. Really it's a very dated hotel, not the cleanest and hasn't been renovated in 30 +years. Would not want to stay here more than a night.
