Beautiful grounds, rooms were very nice, breakfast was delicious, great location for walking to center, free parking, super clean Could use a few more chairs by pool

Beautiful place, the rooms, very good restaurant

It’s a pretty location and a short walk to historic center. Breakfast is substantial for Italy but okay. The hotel is very dated. I’m sure in the 1960s it was very fashionable. Linens are very shabby and stained. It’s far from train station. And the worst wifi ever. You have to go in the hallway or lobby for a steady connection.

Room was large with lovely view over the pool and garden. Breakfast was substantial and provided great Gluten free options. Free large carpark on site. Very friendly staff in reception and amazing women on breakfast duty who made the stay such a pleasure. Swimming pool was pristine and warm with a life guard on duty. A lovely walk into the old town and perfect location to explore surrounding towns and coastal areas. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and to have a swim after a days touring was absolutely magic. Sunday the main gate is locked till 2pm due to market in street in front so to exit the carpark out to the street, one has to drive a difficult tight pathway through the large garden, backing up to turn very tight corners. Not a pleasant experience.

Location was Bret. Staff was exceptional The renovations going on outside our room was quite loud and constant banging. However, upon complaining, we were given a free bottle of wine and a note of apology

The bathroom was extremely small. The shower was tiny, 24"x24" I would say. Very difficult to bathe! No hot breakfast and the same choices every day.

It was not in centro. It was a pleasant walk, but I prefer to be closer to the center of the historic city.

The Park Hotel San Michele is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the historic centre of Martina Franca, making it a perfect base for exploring the town. We booked a superior room which was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and swimming pool. Breakfast was good, with attentive waiter service, though not quite exceptional. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The swimming pool was a real highlight — a delightful place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a charming setting. A couple of minor drawbacks were the size of the shower and the general impression that the hotel could benefit from a little updating. Nothing very worrisome.

Very beautiful place and exceptional breakfast

Perfect location for a quick overnight in Martina Franca.

It was a great location, close to the old town. Loved the size of our room and having a pool to come back to each day after sight seeing was a blessing. Good breakfast on the beautiful verandah and the staff were very very obliging. The hotel also had a lovely dinner each night. We felt that there should have been perhaps a kettle to make tea or.coffee in our room, as after breakfast there was no where to have a drink until dinner. There was no safe in our room, which is unusual The property grounds could perhaps be a little better maintained. The address which is listed took us to the back gate, and after several trips around the block, we finally saw the illuminated sign, perhaps a proper sign on the back gate wall next to the drive way would eliminate looking for the entrance.

Rooms are fairly small, bathroom will not be comfortable if your size is XXL. A bit slow service and rooms were not ready at 3pm.

Facilities in the room,

Garden is beautiful. Location is good. Blanket on the bed - this is not expected in a 4 star facility and not hygenic (I work for hotel group consisting of 8 hotels a d 3 villas, different stars rating, so I know what I"m talking about) Blue light in the shower cabin - feels like you're in a night club Bad odour in the room Breakfast - bad display, choice mising, some food served in non adequate condition(old bread etc)

Breakfast good enough. Room very clean. Own parking into yard. Shower cabin too narrow.

Very clean & comfortable /good breakfast within easy walking distance of the centro storico, and with free parking, a great base for exploring other towns such as Alberobello & Matera by car as we did.
