Hotel Via dos Corais

The breakfast is very good, we need confirm it. But the facilities, bedrooms, bathrooms are very poor. Even there is no place enough for parking. The bedroom installations, the rest rooms, the communication to the staff.

Very good location. Breakfast was great. Nice facilities for kids. Chilled vibe in the swimming pool area, good to relax and enjoy the bar Lifts not working, so not good if you have accessibility issues or, like us, have small children who demand buggies and loads of luggage. No electric kettles available in the rooms so you can’t do tea/coffee/milk. Safe simply not working, complained with staff who promised to fix it but didn’t in the end. Rooms felt dated overall, they need a revamp to justify the prices being charged

The customer service isn't the best. It was the first time that I asked for "hot water" at the reception and I was sent to heat it up myself to the staff kitchen. Should I've gone to a hostel, ok, perfect; but I wasn't at one, was I?

Service Rooms need maintenance, location is not good. Very expensive for what it offers.

I absolutely love this place, definitely recommend and will come back with my family The check in service is old style which you need to fill up a paper form yourself. Would be a great benefit for both sides a bit more modern system to save time and offer a more comfortable experience on the first few minutes which counts a lot

Great pool, great location and decent rooms. The pool bar system is a bit off. They just add drinks to your room, and you sign the receipt each time, but at the end the signed receipts are nowhere to be seen and you cannot argue the amount claimed (which you are told at checkin, oddly). Ripe for being overcharged. Should pay as you go.

The staff were very nice and helpful- it was in a good location No lift - staff had very little English. I found the dining home claustrophobic

The swimming pool and breakfast are excellent. The garden is beautiful. I reserved a regular room and was very disappointed upon arrival, as it was not what was shown at the pictures. Fortunately we could upgrade to a premium room the following day. The premium was not only bigger, but the quality of the linen and amenities was far superior. The regular room was also extremely noisy. I was disappointed with the cleaning. You could always feel Some sand in the room when walking barefoot, even if the room has just been cleaned -and we kept our shoes outside. Maybe the hotel could invest in vacuum cleaners, instead I’d just brooms. Although booking states that all fees are included the hotel charges 10% service fee.

It would have been perfect if it were beach front and a slightly bigger pool, but still the location is good and safe for a solo traveler and the pool very nice.
