Hotel Mar Blanco is located in the beach town of Matanzas, 10 minutes from Pupuya beach by car. Our local facing the sea offers accommodations with comfortable rooms available sea view that have a balcony and view of the hill, all of these are located on the second floor, have a desk, include breakfast, private bathroom, hot-tub, Wi-fi, TV cable, amenities, heating, pool table and free parking in front of the premises. We have a Bar/Restaurant on our first floor open to the public with a varied menu, where you will find tables in the lounge, on the terrace, with lounge chairs and direct access to the beach. We offer a panoramic terrace on our exclusive third floor where you can enjoy a privileged view of the coastline and its sunsets. You can consult for the Spa service and tourist information. Near the hotel there are several places of tourist interest: Las Brisas beach, Pupuya beach, Rapel river mouth, Maitén reserve.

The view and the staff. They were very polite and helpful. They always tried to find a solution. One of the best we had on our trip. Please keep them motivated and well paid, they totally deserve it. The included breakfast was disappointing: 1 scrambled egg, 1.5 slice of ham and cheese, fruit and 2 slices of bread per person. Nothing you cannot buy at the supermarket. We ordered from the menu the last day. Stains and mold in the bathroom. Most of it is from poor materials or maintenance. I don't think it's just a cleaning problem: there was condensation on the windows and bathroom ceiling. Bathroom door could not be fully closed due to humidity. Last day there was no hot water in the shower. To resume the experience: If you're gonna charge European prices for a stay, please offer the equivalent. If you want to be a warm and cozy Guesthouse, own it: offer local products, show your commitment to the community. You don't even have to lower your rates, but offer something more valuable. And please don't have messages encouraging your guests to reduce water consumption while you're being sponsored by an industrial beer company.

Beautiful location, nice garden. Food was quite good. However, the hotel is in urgent need of restauration particularly the rooms and bathroom. Lack of cleaniness is a big issue (particularly the bathrooms). It would be nice to have one area of the terrace without constant loud music playing.

Location and the view are very good. The whole place looks pretty, they make a nice bonfire in the night. The rooms are nice and spacious. The service in general was very basic; staff was friendly but not too focused on the job.The breakfast is very simple for what you pay. Plumming systems needs some work.

We had a very nice stay! The room was very nicely decorated. The beach lounge was great, the service of the staff was generally great, though a little less attentive in the night. Breakfast was good, I like the personal serving instead of buffet. For dinner we had shared a tabla for 2 and had some cocktails, both were very good. The smell from the kitchen was very strong in the whole restaurant and stairs. I missed the option to have something sweet with the breakfast.
