The breakfast was a real treat! Several courses, including Tiramisu (for breakfast). Make sure you plan to spend some time enjoying it. Parking along the street was easy - modern house. Nothint to dislike. The host couple was very accommodating.

Exceptional! Everything was just superb: sparkling clean, great modern design, spacious room, and bathroom. The breakfast! The best we had in any B&B. The host couple is so lovely. She advised us on the best restaurant in town for dinner. It was indeed the best. Also, I asked for a little touch in our room for a special Birthday. A bottle of wine, strawberries, and delicious tiramisu were waiting for us. The location is also great, very close to the Historic Center. Highly recommend! Nothing!

This a charming small hotel - 5 rooms - so we felt fortunate to get one of them! This is a totally updated facility that retains charm with private and public patio areas. We could park on the street right outside the hotel and did not have trouble finding a spot. It was about a 10 minute walk to the historic city - down hill there, uphill back but very doable. Our hosts provided an incredible breakfast with homemade sweets plus meats, cheese, fruit, juice, and great coffee. Coffee and water are free and available 24/7. Our host spent time explaining the historic sights, gave restaurant recommendations, and made the restaurant reservation for us. Really - this place is a gem! nothing

The property is a modern and extremely clean facility. The access was secure and simple. The owners take exceptional care to ensure a peaceful visit. The breakfast was very good. It’s a little bit of a climb to reach from the city square. But that adds to the experience in solitude

Nothing was overlooked during our amazing few days in Matera! They made us feel like family! Thank you! No complaints at all! Nothing!

Everything is perfect here! When we arrived, Antonella greeted us with a big smile :) Room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very freshly baked cakes, bread, cheese and hot drinks/juices. She is very kind and nice lady, she dropped us to the bus stop as we had a very early bus. She even packed breakfast for us on the final day. It felt like home :) highly recommend this place and we would love to visit again and stay here :) Everything is perfect!

Our hosts at h-sa Guest House provided a comfortable and welcoming stay. The room size was generous and we loved our patio, and the hosts went above and beyond from giving us useful information, refreshing our room and providing access to coffee and water. The first morning we enjoyed a generous and delicious breakfast served at outdoor tables - they have inside tables as well. The 2nd morning we had to leave early and they packed us a big box with yummy focaccia and baked goods and even fruit and juice. We enjoyed our first visit to Matera and this property outside the Sassi provided the ease of parking directly in front and transporting our luggage inside with no problem. We had great weather and it was an easy downhill walk of about 10 minutes to explore the Sassi. We were thankful to be staying outside the Sassi when we saw people struggling the small alleys and steps with their luggage. The walk back from the Sassi could be a problem in extreme temperatures or rain, but for us we had nice weather and it was good exercise which we needed after eating all the wonderful food!

We had a wonderful stay in Matera at h-sa, The facility is beautiful, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful with information and recommendations in Matera. And the breakfast was fantastic - freshly prepared food and home-baked pastries. Parking was readily available and the location is within a short walk of the old town of Matera. Highly recommend this place!

This was a stunning property and a highlight to our trip. The food was varied and fresh. Antonella was a lovely host. Walking around the Sassi area is very tiring so it was a tad difficult walking up another hill to get to the band b. However once there you could relax outside in the shade

Great accommodation; modern and clean rooms. Only a few minutes walking to the old city center. Parking available in front of the guesthouse. The hospitality of Antonella and her cakes for breakfast were outstanding. We would definitely stay here again.
