B&B La Dimora di Rosa

Everything was perfest!!! Great location, only 2 mins walking from the center, very helpful host, he explained everything, the place was clean, neat, had everything you need. They even welcomed us with a delicious homemade cake!

The owners of the room were super helpful and went above an beyond to make us feel at home even bringing us local biscuits one morning. The room is excellently located and you can walk to the main square in about 2 minutes. Parking isn't easy and you'll probably have to pay but we didn't expect anything else staying in such a central location. Definitely value for money compared to a lot of the other accommodation in Matera. We had no Complaints about the room but do be aware that it is a more like a hotel room with ensuite bathroom than an apartment. There is a small fridge and microwave and the breakfast is cellophane wrapped sweet things + the cake, of course! :-)

Just one night...

location was soo perfect. it just 200m away from Matera Old town and all the attractions. room is large and very clean . host was always fast response for any question we had. break was lovely and we had good stay. i would highly recommend this room for anyone who would like to visit Matera . nothing

Breakfast isn't good at all. But the location is very good! Breakfast is just snacks..

Raffaele was a welcoming and helpful host. My friend and I were delighted with the comfortable room and excellent shower. He provided a freshly baked cake ( baked by his Mum) on our arrival and recommended some excellent restaurants. The location is very close to the large piazza in the centre of the old town. We loved our stay in Matera! Nothing

The host was very helpful and accommodating.

We were quite worried when first asked to store our touring bikes at an off-site parking garage. However the owners agreed to let us store 2 bikes in a storage room. I understand concerns about bikes damaging walls and some people might arrive with dirty bikes especially those riding gravel roads. So, I would not recommend this lodging for cyclists. Like about half the properties encountered, breakfast consists of cellophane wrapped items, not great. However, they left an excellent breakfast cake "made by our mother". Also a small grocery is next door, quite convenient, so our "cautions" or more "likes."

They were willing to help even when we needed help to hire a taxi. The location is perfect too, just a few minutes away from the main attractions. Definitely recommend!

Eveything was perfect! The hosts are very kind and helpful!! They greeted us, showed us the room and made sure we are comfortable!! They also offered us a great breakfast!! Vfm,Good price for the sevrice!! The room is very close to the main square of the old town!! I would recommend it!!

This was one of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed at. The room was designed in a really clever and efficient way, with everything one might need at hand (fridge, coffee maker, breakfast supplies, plates, napkins, cutlery, etc.). Lots of attention to detail and a super kind host who sorted out an issue I'd inadvertently caused myself. Really close to the centre of the old town, too, and the route down to the Sassi. Highly recommended!

Exceptional

Location was fabulous.In modern Matera centre and close to the Sassi di Matera ( historic wing of Matera).Many eateries around.Our host was nice and helpful.Historic Matera is out of this world! Its people are nice as well. Can't think of any.

Raffaelle greeted us upon arrival and gave great resteraunt suggestions. Place was clean and spacious. Breakfast was continental with the added feature of a fresh made yummy cake! Water, juice, milk and Nespresso. Nice balcony. Easy walk to train station and main plaza. Great for a two night stay! Water pressure and temperature is inconsistent. Could use another shelf in bathroom.

Perfect for us as close to bus stop maybe 10mins walk max, and only a minute to walk to the main piazza and sassi. Quiet, comfy bed, fresh cake for breakfasts. Excellent communication with host. Amazing pizza at Il Rusticone not far away. Would be nice to have proper plates and glasses, hate the plastic!!
