Sabine and her family were very welcoming, and as they accomodated a large group of kids at the same time, they enabled a special apartment on the other part of the house for us to have a nice and quiet holliday. I was surprised how thoughtful they were about making sure everybody has their needs met. The apartment was exeptionally clean and had a charming ambiance with a view of the castle. I recommend House Lungau to anyone visiting the area and hope to have the opportunity to stay there again in the future.

The hotel is at a perfect location, has an own parking area, the house is very nice, the room is spacious and cosy. The owners are very kind and helpful, they serve the guests personally. The hotel offers a three-course, delicious dinner each day at a good price. Everything was fine. Just the bed creaks at every movement.

The most basic breakfast there is. No warm buffet at all neither fruits.

The accomodation itself is very nice, cute, clean. But... 1.We were overcharged. I had to pay cash 40 euro more then the price on booking. I tried to explain the lady - owner, that we booked the total price with booking, but she had a rude remark. : Oh, soll ich Ihnen das Haus lieber schenken? I tried to argue the fact that I was right, so we discussed the overcharging in the hotel lobby. Then another rude owners remark came quoting : "Ich habe auch etwas anderes zu tun, als mit Ihnen hier 20 Minuten ueber die Rechnung zu diskutieren..." Yes, I tried to enjoy my holiday and also did not like the fact to discuss about what is booking - for 20 minutes... Luckily after we came home from holiday, I contacted booking com and in one week the overcharged amount of money returned to my accound. 2. The pictures in booking dont separete the holiday house and hotel room facilieties. . So dont exptect to be able to use also the hotel facilieties. When I tried to explain, that it is normal in a hotel chain or a house belonging to hotel to let the guests use the hotel facilieties , again an unpolite rude fight with the lady owner started.. "Koennen sie mit in dem Zimmer auf booking com zeigen wo die Sauna in dem Zimmer in Bildern steht? " I said, it does not cost anything to make the guests happy to let us use billiard, we stayed in Egypt in 4x hotel and they let us use the 5x sister hotel facilietie for free another rude remark of the lady owner." Oh, dann naechstes Jahr wieder in Egypten anstatt Oesterreich?".. I had never met such a rude strange attitude and remarks from the owner. I was really shocked, because we travel a lot in Austria and this was the first time in 50 times that I was comfronted with such an owners customers offensive attitude...

Breakfast was fine, bakery products were very good. The welcome dinner was fabulous. The chef was handicapped by hand surgery, so I look forward to experiencing her delicacies when I will return.

Location is very good bacuse it is a lot of ski center near hause. A little to warn rooms at night.

Nicely renovated house with spacious room, cleaning every day. Lovely hosts. Breakfast from 7.30 which is great for skiers. Good sauna and beautiful bar area. The wifi was not working in our room although we were staying on ground level very close to the reception. The bar is open till 10pm and it can be very noisy when groups of people from there or from outside go to their rooms up the stairs.

Very pleasant stay. Everything was very nicely organized. Unexpected was a possibility to get lunch which was excellent in quality. I will be happy to come back for next conference or for vacations. Many thanks to hosts! Nothing to complain. All was excellent.
