Location There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

The food and service was exceptional- felt very lucky - looked after so well and really loved the rooms, house and general level of hospitality Nothing - it was amazing

Beautiful views and decent location The owner moved us to a different room for the last night without any notice, he was completely unapologetic about it. Tried to pass it off as if it had already been agreed, then eventually said ‘it’s in the fine print’ My wife had hurt her knee the previous day and she was on crutches, but he moved us to a room that had a stairs up to it and a bath tub to shower. We were living out of our bags for the last couple of days, and it just made life so much more difficult for us. No concessions or apologies offered, we felt like we’d done something to upset them…but it just the owners poor attitude, smoking away at the reception

Responsive and friendly staff, the owners always ready to help with any issue, great room service. Nice breakfast and really exceptional dinner - my advice is booking the dinner and enjoy every day perfectly cooked and served delicious food. Location is good in the walking distance from almost anywhere in the Mayrhofen, a few minutes walking time to the skating rink (in summer - tennis court) and to the adjacent to it water center with basins, saunas, etc. May be problematic for people with disabilities reaching the hotel by foot - about of 500m uphill walking from the nearest bus station.

Restaurant and bar were excellent and good value for money. Wellness facilities were very good and staff very helpful. It’s not in the centre of town but only a 10 minute walk 15 to the very centre. Not a big issue really as we preferred to stay in the hotel in the evening we may have ventured out more if we were central.

Very well done breakfast. An excellent selections of breads, cheeses, meats, fruits, yogurt and cereals. Freshly made eggs in 5 styles prepared to order.

Authentic hotel with nice rooms, good breakfast and practical ski storage

The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, with top-notch renovation quality. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel features a sauna (note: it is mixed-gender and nudity is required), a decent breakfast, and a ski equipment storage room. The atmosphere was very cozy, capturing the true spirit of Tyrol. The views of the mountains were stunning, and there’s a nearby forest for hiking if you’re not skiing or snowboarding. The biggest downside is the distance from the ski lift. Although it’s marked as an 8-minute walk on maps, without a car, it becomes an intense workout—especially when carrying ski equipment back to the hotel. We struggled with this as lockers near the lift were fully booked for a week. Another downside was the automated lighting in the bathroom and hallway. While it’s likely meant to save energy, it was frustrating. At night, the hallway light would turn on, waking up the second guest, and the bathroom fan would stay noisy for 5 minutes after use. Worse, the light turned off randomly while showering, which was incredibly annoying.

Location is calm and quiet. But you should rent skidepot because it would be too much to bring the ski every day in and out to the lift. Especially with kids. The whole area inside was smelling like someone is always smoking. Furniture is old and mattresses are really old and hard. None of the doors/windows are noise isolating.

The breakfast was in very good level of quality. Honestly we expected for a little more patience for our questions regarding the facilities, shuttle times and etc. We see it as something basic to explain to new guest the main points of the place. Pay attention, there are no mini fridge, kettle, tea or coffee in the rooms. We stayed at the 2-nd floor and every day we felt cigarette smoke, seems it was from air hood and not from the neihgbours rooms.

The hotel is amazing! It has very nice sauna area, which a big plus after a whole ski day. The room has an incredible mountain view!
