Excellent location with great views from the balcony up the valley, over to Finkenberg. Located at the top end of the town, so ideal for both cable cars. I have stayed here before and was happy to return this time. Family run hotel, with the family living downstairs, so always available if required. No faults.

The building is old, the surrounding is smelly, very simple breakfast, price is too high.

The breakfast was very basic. Parkng was difficult. Beutiful town with lots of activities. The lady owner assisted us with heavy luggage up the stairs. Very kind. Very basic accomodations with tiny shower and small room No common area to sit but I guess that is what you get with a guest house.

Family run guesthouse. Lady met us immediately and showed us to our rooms, but other than seeing her at some point after breakfast to checkout, we didn't really engage with the family. We could see they were down in the garden though so we could have found them if needed. Comfortable and quiet with amazing mountain views from the balcony. Down the quieter end of town with other guesthouses around. Nice adjacent sofa/living area to our room with information booklet. Large floor space. Breakfast was quite basic, but each guest had a fresh boiled egg from their chickens/ducks (we think!) waiting for them! Nil for specific dietary requirements. Indoor sauna but no idea how we would have used it. There was a drinks fridge but again, not sure what the etiquette was to use it.

The location is brilliant. 5 mins to penkin and street with restaurants. The view from the balcony is magnificent! There is parking available. The place is cosy. We felt as we were only one in the guesthouse, even without the host) The breakfast. Everything was prepared and fresh, but very limited options. Basically just bread and salami with cheese and boiled egg. Room were not properly cleaned. We didnt mind, buts some people might.
