Maywood Inn

The room was clean and spacious. It had a small TV, which was fine for us since we hardly watch TV unless the World Cup is on, though the TV sound quality was pretty terrible. The electrical outlets and USB power ports could definitely be of better quality. On the plus side, the room included a mini-fridge, which was a nice unexpected surprise! In the lobby, they offer complimentary coffee, ice, and water, as well as a single microwave available for all guests to share. One thing I didn't like was that they require a lot of personal information at check-in (home address, phone number, ID number, and email). I'm not entirely sure why they need all of that data, but it is mandatory. Overall, the area felt safe and there are some good options nearby to dine in.

Price. *Location is very central in LA area. *Safe area in a majority hispanic neighborhood. *Good soundproofing from other guests. *Rooms looks like a recent-ish renovation with some new paint, while other areas could use a fresh coat of paint. *Free parking. Cons: *Location is very central, but not close to really anything. *The even numbered rooms are on a very busy street with a lot of noise. Highly recommend getting an odd numbered room facing a neighborhood. *Pool was the coldest pool in North America. *Not great food choices. *Slightly rundown motel with signs of improving.

The room itself was ok. The tv was not good. We had to call for maintenance on the tv, 3 times, in less than 24 hours. The restroom needs an upgrade.

Staff kept me deposited room was intact I left early me and my disabled 14 yr old they claimed I smoked in the room even though It smelled like cigarettes when I got there...I left early I cleaned there room to look better then how I found it ..discrimination is the word Tub

Been a mainstay of mine for over a decade. The lack of fridge in (many, if not all) rooms has been troublesome, but not unbearable. Microwave, coffee and hot/cold water dispenser in the lobby all a +++ for traveling patrons like myself. Staff is (not overly) friendly, courteous and mindful of privacy. Price online (generally) lower than in-person quote (but that's WHY we go online!!) Overall, a good bargain. It's not the Ritz. But it's not the 6 either!!

There was cockroaches, hair on the pillows, writing on walls and furniture.

We liked everything, the staff so kind and helpful, room was very clean and neat plenty of towels, shampoo, we will be staying here again soon. Thank you to the staff

The amenities are minimal, but allright. Rooms are alright but isolation could be a bit better or rooms next to us were a bit noisy.

The room i got had no microwave nor fridge, I dont know if that's normal but definitely a first
